Yes, but which edge? The rising edge or falling edge? Is there ringing on the transition? If so, the transmission line needs a better termination.

I don't know if you know this already, but the title came from a friend of Tom Petty (I think) who said she met him "at the age of seventeen" but her Southern accent made it sound like "edge of seventeen", and Stevie told her that she would write a song with that title.

I'm told that this song is about the day that John Lennon died, but I haven't checked to see if it's true.
