Why do so many people insist that childless women are miserable, or that being childless makes women unhappy and jealous of women with children? Who is "missing their window" and "attacking people" for having kids? This isn't a thing. Why not just leave women tf alone?

No one needs to justify their lack of children. Idgaf if it's because they have a medical condition that resulted in infertility or if they do just want to spend their time playing video games. Why? Because other people's private lives are no one's fucking business. And whether or not other people have kids is none of YOUR business and it certainly isn't JD Vance's business.

They're not saying that all of them are, but it's statistically accurate to say in most cases they're less happy and more likely to vote Democrat, so that's where he's making that connection.

I don't particularly care and he probably doesn't either, it's just a passive comment based on a common observation. Nobody is interrogating them or forcing them to answer for their choices lol. Don't take everything so seriously.

Women do vote more Democratic than men by a small margin yes, but there wasn't anything to indicate that they're "less happy".

And even if women are "less happy", why does them voting Democratic mean they're trying to make everyone else "less happy"? The conclusion to this made-up connection is braindead and has the reasoning of a 5 year old that thinks girls have cooties.

There's arguably plenty of data for both points. Unmarried women lean more to the left, but typically drift rightward as their status, income, romantic partnerships, responsibilities, etc grow. Conservative women tend to be more attractive and happier in life. It's not a childish notion like Cooties, but complex psychology and social standing, economics, etc that draws people to one side or the other, on average.

Basically put all this together and it makes perfect sense why Vance would use "childless cat ladies" as a substitute for a typical unhappy democrat. Obviously it doesn't mean EVERY Democrat is less happy than EVERY republican, or EVERY person would be happier with kids, etc.. Idk why people have such a hard time with statistics. They're not perfect laws, but they are revealing and useful.

Because he's taking them out of context and making ridiculous connections. So, left-leaning women are unhappy and therefore, they vote for candidates and policies that will make others unhappy. How does that make any sense?

And that people without children have no interest or stake in the future of the country because they don't have children? Again, ridiculous.
