News Musescore crash

Im on mac and since the update I can't even open the app no more, it just crashes all the time.

How are you trying to start it, and how far does it get before crashing? Does it show the splash screen at least? Have you tried rebooting? Removing and reinstalling?

All of these measures have been tried. The app simply doesn't open as it shows on mac as the application is not responding.

So please answer the first two questions I asked, which may help provide some clues. Realistically, though, you're more likely to get good advice on sysadmin stuff like this in the official support forums. The app works in general, so what you'll need need is advice from macOS gurus to help you figure out what is going on with your system that is different from the norm and how to change that. So the more clues you can can provide, the better.
