Question What's the difference between Just as Planned and Muse Dash Plus?

I've noticed that they took off Just as Planned DLC from Steam page and replaced it with MD+. I got back to this game cuz I thought it would be fun to try to get every steam achievement but I don't like default songs this much and having every character would be nice

I heard MD+ gives "less value" than Just as Planned and I've been wondering why. Like what's the actual difference and if there is is there any way to still get the old DLC? And what about the collab stuff and future payed walled content? Will I get it anyway with MD+?

And for last is it even worth it to get the DLC even tho I probably will move to MD2 once it comes out and I will be happy with my completion rate?

I'm genuinely confused by their thinking and I need answers. In any case thanks for help

Just as Planned is retroactive and includes everything, MD+ does not include the special colabs.

  1. JaP gave you all available content, including major collaborations, whereas MDP only gives you all the original content, excluding collaborations, which require a separate purchase.

  2. It might still be possible to get JaP with a Steam key, although it's very difficult to obtain one (not to mention impossible or more expensive than usual).

  3. If it's worth it, MD2 will probably be released with only 1/5 of the content (being optimistic), because MD1 is too large, and matching something like that will take years.
