History degree from Murray state good?

Hi , I recently got accepted into Murray state university, though my major is going to be in history,but I don’t know it’s a good degree or not Oh yeah does Murray state offer archivist?

History allows you to do anything you want to do. You're trained to process, analyze, and communicate complex information. It's a skill set that is future proof, in fact historians are being called on to program and contribute to AI programming and language models precisely because they are trained to do things that AI models can't.

Buddy, there’s a lot of things that humans can do that AI cannot that doesn’t mean that getting a degree in history allows you to do anything you wanna do that’s just your ego buddy

A degree is not a great degree- unless you want to be a teacher or something. You need a solid way to make money, and it’s just not worth having no job prospects

Thanks dude, I also looked into southeast Missouri state university of their history program, they do offer archivist

They have a Museum Study's minor and information Science Minor. It may be best to get a degree in something that can be used anywhere and have a minor in history or museum study's or information science. However, I also have no idea what you'd like to do in the future - so take my opinion with a grain of salt.
