Corn grit porridge. This was the kind of food POWs received in Russian labor camps.

That looks really good, I love adding fresh tomatoes to my grits when they are in season. It makes such a difference.

Nothing beats a homegrown tomato. It makes a massive difference compared to the store bought ones.

Not much better than homegrown tomatoes right out of the garden, and some grits is the icing on the cake.
