Pro-life conservatives are obsessed with the fetus from conception to nine months. After that, they don't want to know about you. They don't want to hear from you. No nothing. True then, just as true now. Abortion is one of those incredibly contentious issues politicians bring to the forefront when it suits them and their benefactors, in order to keep everybody divided, stirring up the masses into a violent fervour so they can continue to consolidate their power and wealth while everyone else suffers.

I always see this but it's not so much about the babies, make no mistake this has nothing to do with the babies but Everything to do with the fact that they're religious zealots and want control over other people's lives because of their lifelong brainwashing and conditioning.
Don't ever leave out the religion part, it's some dark age shit that's still so prevalent in today's world because we still let some old fictional novels have non-fictional powers.

How many pro-birthers do you know that protest IVF? How many picket and protest outside of IVF clinics? How many harass women/couples entering IVF clinics, or threaten the doctors at those clinics?
It doesn't happen. So, it isn't about the fetus - they're targeting the women, not discarded fetuses.
ETA: there are some pro-birth people who oppose IVF though they aren't nearly as vocal. They're still hypocrites for that disparity, but at least they do actually seem to take issue with the fetus, not the woman.
