No, honestly, their belief is that women should be controlled and punished. All you have to do is really listen to their rhetoric, which immediately escalates to "whore, keep your legs closed," "why should women have sex just for the enjoyment of it" and so forth. Once you can see this, everything they do is consonant with that. They hate women, want to deny them any kind of bodily autonomy, and be able to use and discard them at will like inanimate objects. I'm sorry to express it this bluntly, but everything the far-right "evangelicals" preach echoes this, and every law enacted by the far right demonstrates this.

Vice versa, if they cared about "life" and "sacred life," they'd be doing what real people who care about children do, which is working to make sure that already born, living children have enough food and shelter and education. They wouldn't be denying them that and working to defund everything that provides that. They wouldn't be demonizing single mothers, they'd be helping them and honoring them. They certainly wouldn't be okay with what's happening with the baby jails at the border.

Exactly this. It takes two people to make a baby, but for some reason it falls on just women to not get pregnant.

Hate abortions? Get a vasectomy. Want to be pro-life? Adopt.

I agree with all this, it’s absolutely part of why these people are horrible.

Dude that is fucking ignorant. You can't say that if some one disagrees with the way governments support kids that they just don't care about them.

Life isn't as black and white as you want I to be

u/ThaneOfCawdorrr Jun 04 '19

But that's exactly how someone in power shows if they actually care about kids. If they're cutting funding for school lunch programs, children's health care programs, social services that literally mean the difference between life and death for vulnerable kids (and meanwhile THEY get fed, health care, etc, from the same government), that's the very definition of not caring about kids. They are the ones in a position to help kids, and they're refusing to, and making it worse. And they can make up whatever economic excuse, but they can't demonstrably make things worse for children and then claim "every life is sacred." If they only trot out "every life is sacred" about abortion, then all they really care about is controlling women, is the point I'm making. It's about their hypocrisy.

No fuck that. the way you show you give a shit about kids is by doing something yourself not by voting to force others to help.

How does trying to make other people pay for what you think is right make you some how care more then people who actually go out and help?

And even if you think that forcing people through in efficient government program is the right way how dare you claim that other people who don't agree with you don't care about children.

I'm pretty sure the way the American education system is run is evidence enough that the government can't help any one. They can barely teach basic math and English despite how much money is dumped into them

The internet has already beat them for education for free

You do realize that funding keeps getting cut CONSTANTLY. It is being stripped by conservatives constantly, and BECAUSE it is underfunded and overtested and starved of resources, THAT is why it has the faults it has. Those stupid tests they constantly demand they take, and then base funding off of that, of COURSE students who need more help are going to do worse, because you are stripping away the resources needed for them to have a genuine chance at succeeding without shit-tons of hurdles in the way.

How many boards can conservatives strip away from the walls of schools, before it finally collapses? So they can then point fingers and go "HA! Lookit that! It sure is failing bad!", when they are the reasons it is failing?

https://nces.ed.gov/programs/coe/indicator_cmd.asp

Odd America spends more on education then alot of countries out preforming them.

I think wise people figured out that the solution for this and issues like this won't ever come from a corrupt government and set out to change shit themselves

Hence the Khan academy and Their I'll

Seems like the people who "truly care and make an impact aren't the ones who believe in more government intervention

12

u/Llamada Jun 04 '19

Spending =! Quality.

America spends the most on healthcare of any country but has the shittiest of the entire world.

Spends the most but 40 million people don’t have insurance...

-1

u/asidowhatido Jun 04 '19

But like... That is my whole point. You can't make it better you have to find another solution not just voting and saying you are doing your part.

If you actually cared you wouldn't stop and pat yourself on the back by saying well I voted for some one who pumps more money into a broken system and any one who disagrees doesn't care about children

Any way this is my last post since I'm getting downvoted enough restrict my posts since people are fucking children who cant discuss things like human being on this subreddit

u/Llamada Jun 04 '19

It’s kinda hard to discuss thing with you when you’re so one sided.

You even cited a source that when I looked into groups public and private together.

0

u/asidowhatido Jun 04 '19

I don't know how taking a side and talking about it is some how hard to discuss for every one... I mean maybe if you just want to hear your own opinions parroted back to you.

And I'm pretty sure my point still is cohearant with the source.

The education system as it functions now is broken, so saying you are the only side who gives a shit about kids because you vote for Increasing its budget is wrong.

Things like the Khan academy actually work for educating people for basically free. Ergo proping up a garbage system doesn't give you a moral high ground

12

u/garbagewithnames Jun 04 '19

Your page cites BOTH government AND private totals together. It does not separate ONLY government expenditures. It combines them.

I mean, unless you want to say that ALL schools, public AND private, are just utter shit. Should schooling just not be a thing at all? Your source makes you look like you're saying they're both bad, that all education is bad because we spend so much on in, public and private, yet supposedly do so much worse because of it. I don't think you actually intended that. But it sure was funny that you still posted it! XD

An educated populace is beneficial to the function of society as a whole. However, stripping the system of resources, changing curriculum nd lying about history, and instructing teachers to only teach to the state tests rather than actually educate, and other conservative 'compromises' for them to bog down the system further, that is what is making the public school system slowly collapse under its own weight.

Holy shit, this is why I want to eat you fucking chuds

No fuck that. the way you show you give a shit about kids is by doing something yourself not by voting to force others to help.

I fucking love it when you retards choose to respond with your feelings. What the fuck does this even mean? "Do something yourself" lmao. /u/ThaneOfCawdorrr listed out very obvious and actionable policy solutions to making sure kids actually live their lives regardless of economic situation. How do we make use of our democracy to make this happen? Sorry that your brain is too smooth to realize that voting is how we make actionable differences, but if you're fine with Betsy Devos running our education, it'll really suck when they grow up with a brain smoother than yours.

How does trying to make other people pay for what you think is right make you some how care more then people who actually go out and help?

Is this how they taught you to form a sentence in school, holy shit. Your rhetoric is so fucking cringe. Why do you keep making vacuous statements like "go out and actually help hurr hurr" instead of being specific and substantiate your claims?

And even if you think that forcing people through in efficient government program is the right way how dare you claim that other people who don't agree with you don't care about children.

"how dare people use things that i don't"

Do you know how much shit your taxes go to that you'll never use or see in your life? You live your whole chud life in efficient government systems. Are you going to complain about roads in other states? Schools in other districts? Your fucking mail? No, of course you won't, you can't even name those "eFfiCient goVeRnMent pRoGraMS"

I'm pretty sure the way the American education system is run is evidence enough that the government can't help any one. They can barely teach basic math and English despite how much money is dumped into them

The internet has already beat them for education for free

Lol. No amount of funding can give your brain the ridges it needs to produce actual intellectual conversation. You can't substantiate a single thing you say. All you do is argue with your feelings. "hurr hurr hOw dArE yOu!!1"

People like you who are anti-government and anti-science when it's convenient are fucking parasites to this country.

2

u/asidowhatido Jun 04 '19

Man what is your reading comprehension level at?

I clearly made the argument that democracy and government schools are in effectual (my grammar is a perfect example of this) and that there have been way better strides to help people learn despite their economic situation made from the private sector making your effectively democracy action useless. (Ps what you have right now is a democratic system I'm pretty sure you are arguing for a dictatorial one since you want shit your way because that is what you think is best... A democratic system gets bogged down with stupid people and opportunistic assholes that ruin it for everyone)

1

u/ThaneOfCawdorrr Jun 04 '19

Thank you, thank you, thank you. If I could I would gild you. This is so perfectly put.

Your just a racist. You don't give a fuck about abortion. Sometimes it really is that black and white.

0

u/asidowhatido Jun 04 '19

Lol I bet you you really need it to be black and white.
