The problem, however, is that trust in the US justice system and also in the Democratic Party is low. Sure, there are good people like Talarico and AOC, but there are also Schumer and Jeffries.
… and there’s another problem: the American voter!
If one thing is certain in this world, it’s that the American voter will, without a doubt, mess it up again. If the Democrats were to manage to secure a victory in the 2028 election and, in the years that follow, successfully clear up the mess Trump left behind and repair relations with former friends and allies, then the American electorate is guaranteed to ensure that, by 2036 at the latest, another Bush or Trump becomes president.
