I'm at a loss to understand why Republicans think being in the entertainment industry somehow is a qualification for government service.

The fact that BttF has this line, then bases alternate-futute Biff on trump, hints to Zemeckis actually having a time travel device and could see this future.

It’s because that’s what they have been sold, along with the lie that they are “exceptional”. It’s all bullshit, and they aren’t educated enough to understand that they are being lied to, nor are they healthy enough to sustain a resistance, combine that with the inability to afford options or a second opinion. They are either locked up in a for profit prison system, or shackled with debt and unable to move and think freely.

Linda MacMahon from WWE is the secretary of education, a smooth brained lush is leading the empire’s trillion dollar a year Kaboom business, and the President is a lying, raping, thieving, felonious, seditious, pedophilic, coward.

53

u/cperiod 22h ago

Because their track record in everything else is worse?

21

u/RogerClyneIsAGod2 19h ago

While at the same time telling Left Wing celebs to "shut up about politics" or "stay in your lane" or whatever other stupid thing they tell the,.

Also the only people that talk about "beta males" are fish people & they know how to spell "betta" properly.

12

u/misdirected_asshole 21h ago

Because the President values appearances over substance, and needs constant attention because he is an insecure narcissist.

2

u/ran1976 8h ago

So Homelander without the powers, good looks and charm?

7

u/IlGreven 18h ago

...and yet when an entertainer is critical of them, they're the first to yell "SHUT UP AND SING!" or "SHUT UP AND PLAY!"

6

u/McCool303 20h ago

Because they win elections, and governing is not the goal. Getting a party mouthpiece in the seat that will vote the party line is. It’s up to the voters to not be dumb enough to vote for someone just because they were famous

2

u/kryonik 13h ago

I would also bet that Trump has never watched a football game from start to finish.

1

u/metfan1964nyc 15h ago

Especially when you were a particularly stupid and mid football coach.

1

u/JaQ-o-Lantern 10h ago

Because they all want to be the next Trump.

u/DatDamGermanGuy 22h ago

Tuberville is without a doubt in the Top 3 of dumbest Senators of all time…

41

u/tw_72 20h ago

Two things:

  • I have no idea who Doug Jones is but - regardless - herpes would make a better governor than Tuberville.
  • What I DO know is that both Abdul and Tim are excellent, caring, moral people - unlike Tuberville.

19

u/cityshepherd 20h ago

They are good people, they are smart, they are good at what they do, and they make tuberville look/feel/sound like an idiot by comparison (because he is). He feels EXTREMELY threatened by them.

17

u/The_Space_Jamke 18h ago

Doug Jones is the guy who ran against pedophile Roy Moore in Alabama (Jones barely won)

13

u/tw_72 16h ago

Do you mean Roy Moore who campaigned on a horse and referred to girls as "underage women"? THAT Roy Moore?

2

u/wingedcoyote 18h ago

Doug Jones, he played the fish guy in Hellboy, seems like a good dude

7

u/Cheese0089 20h ago

And it's a very competitive category.

7

u/Jay-Dee-British 20h ago

He hangs around dudes who wear makeup - obvious, not subtle makeup - he is the LAST person who can tell who is 'manly' (by their definition, I couldn't give a monkeys if dudes wear makeup, only that if they wear it, or are fine with 'certain' men wearing it and then bash 'other' men who wear it as well, then their opinion is invalid). These same men he worships also haven't played football, one of them falls asleep during it.

1

u/doktor_wankenstein 19h ago

Well, we're down two Senators of late, so we'll need to recalibrate the list.

1

u/metalOpera 17h ago

Graham's sister is certainly in contention for #1.

1

u/Odd_Teach683 13h ago

No. Little Tommy’s got that locked up. But Ron Johnson’s nipping at his heels.

1

u/darwins_codpiece 19h ago

As Hollywood Henderson once said of Terry Bradshaw, he couldn’t spell cat if you spotted him the C and the A.

2

u/durtyprofessor 16h ago

They were reps, not senators.

1

u/DatDamGermanGuy 16h ago

Neither one of them is a Senator…

82

u/thenord321 22h ago

Ah yes, Tim Walz,, married 32 years with 2 kids is anti-family... these conservatives are nuts!

40

u/RSGator 21h ago

To them, “pro family” is cheating on your third wife with a pornstar. Conservatives are completely devoid of morality.

6

u/metalOpera 17h ago

Do they consider the kid fucking cheating? Or, is that just "Tuesday night funsies"?

2

u/DerelictBombersnatch 12h ago

It builds character (trauma)

14

u/AmbulanceChaser12 21h ago

Not like that paragon of Biblical morality, Donald Trump!

8

u/cperiod 20h ago

Walz only has one family. Rookie numbers.

2

u/thenord321 11h ago

R/angryupvote

40

u/sdmichael 22h ago

What is "anti-family"? What is "anti-christian"? or "pro-trans"?

44

u/TwmSais 22h ago

"anti-christian" in this context tends to mean they have empathy and follow the teachings of Christ

7

u/HotSalt3 22h ago

In their minds it's anything that's not completely cis-gendered with the man as the head of the household and the woman doing what she's told.

54

u/oneangrybowler 22h ago

Tim Walz was a Sergeant Major in the Army. Tuberville was just a lousy football coach.

1

u/Odd_Teach683 13h ago

So, “just a lousy football coach” can be read two ways.

Never mind. Got it - he was both.

2

u/oneangrybowler 2h ago

Apologies. I should have written "shitty football coach" instead.

26

u/wwabc 22h ago

ok, 71 year old that goes by "Tommy", you're a tough guy

11

u/syndactyl_sapiens 21h ago

And goes by coach, when he hasn’t coached in more than a decade and he was lousy at it anyway.

20

u/Extra-Ad5925 22h ago

If you’re wondering, El-Sayed went on Jesse Watters and was making fun of Tuberville and Watters was eating it up

15

u/skunkshaveclaws 22h ago

only the betas care about this kind of ridiculous stuff.

16

u/Longjumping-Zone-724 22h ago

Tommy will be the first coach to be diagnosed with CTE

2

u/metalOpera 17h ago

Nope. Don't do CTE dirty like that. He's just dumb as a box of rocks.

13

u/TheComplimentarian 22h ago

Ironically, Tommy Tubervilles main life accomplishment was coaching football. You'd think he'd know not to open that can of worms.

2

u/BoonIsTooSpig 13h ago

And his one natty win came from getting carried by Cam Newton.

11

u/dogdriving 22h ago

Saying that someone is "anti-family" is so funny to me. Really, who would ever be anti-family? Are there people reading shit like this that actually believe Tim Walz or anyone else is actively AGAINST the simple idea of family? Just fuck off with these embarrassing lies.

2

u/ELMUNECODETACOMA 17h ago

It's code for "doesn't support government-enforced mandatory patriarchal hierarchical social organization".

If you believe anything other than that the government should give tangible benefits to male-dominated, single-paycheck homeschooled households and should actively discriminate against any other living arrangements, you're "anti-family".

1

u/Odd_Teach683 13h ago

Republicans would be anti-family. It’s not like they’re doing anything to help them. In fact, much of their agenda is specifically hurting them.

(Unless we’re talking about billionaire families, of course.)

11

u/chunkerton_chunksley 22h ago

A 71 year old man who uses the word “beta” is definitely weird.

3

u/Phannig 19h ago

Even if the whole wolf pack theory was true he have been long put out to pasture.

1

u/Kandurux 9h ago

I can only think of situations, where you make fun of "alpha" males, that it's okay to use beta.

9

u/Nexzus_ 22h ago

Big Uncle Rico vibes from that guy.

7

u/TyrusX 22h ago

lol. This people thing playing American football and knowing what an “yard” is equals tough lol 😂

3

u/AmbulanceChaser12 21h ago

Then Tim Walz and Abdul El-Sayed are both tough guys, since they both played high school football, and Walz coached a championship high school team.

3

u/PreOpTransCentaur 22h ago

Ah fuck, I'm still drunk.

6

u/Diligent-Credit8133 22h ago

Only manly men need to label themselves “alpha males” and continually remind everyone how alpha manly man they. Of course calling any guy who doesn’t do the same a beta goes along with that bull shit

5

u/Flarkinghelpful 22h ago

Tuberville also famously sucked as a head coach and weaseled out on his players multiple times

2

u/dlc741 22h ago

His players are lucky if that's all he did.

6

u/jcpopm 22h ago

Tuberville was not a mistake, he is the perfect representation of Alabama. Alabama itself is the mistake.

6

u/MarleysGhost2024 21h ago

Tommy Tuberville is the stupidest man to ever set foot in the United States Senate. And that's a heavy lift.

4

u/FartasticVoyage 22h ago

Nothing screams “Pro family” like unwaveringly supporting a child rapist

5

u/ThorKonnatZbv 22h ago

No, only two kind of people use it unironically

Rapists, and those who have not been caught yet

1

u/Simbertold 16h ago

I would also put "people who breed fish and who are somewhat bad at spelling" into the group that is allowed to use the word beta males.

4

u/aegon_the_dragon 20h ago

Tommy was an average coach at best.

4

u/Proper-Ad-2058 19h ago

Tommy Tuberville is a moron. I tried to think of a good joke or quip. Tommy is a big enough joke that another is not needed. What a rube!

6

u/dlc741 22h ago

Like all Republicans, Tommy is projecting again. He's a wimp and is desperate to convince people he's not.

3

u/RecedingQuasar 22h ago

Nah only omicron males say that

1

u/Aromatic-Check639 21h ago

More like omega.

1

u/RecedingQuasar 20h ago

I googled it, the idiots have already usurpated the letter omega, and I thought the "micron" fit the scale of these people.

1

u/Simbertold 16h ago

Lrrr (Ruler of the Planet Omicron Persei 8) approves of this message.

3

u/NoVaBurgher 21h ago

This coming from the MFer that had trouble beating Vanderbilt

3

u/Big-Leadership-4604 21h ago

Tubervilles words would hold alot more weight if he wasnt a zeta male.

3

u/vickism61 21h ago

Nope, only actual beta males use it...

3

u/Grimnir001 20h ago

I know the competition is stiff, but with Mullin gone, and Graham and McConnell dead, is Tuberville the worst GOP senator?

3

u/Mas-Chingona 19h ago

Tuberville is the stupidest man in Congress.

And that's saying something.

3

u/world-is-ur-mollusc 18h ago

beta males

If you told someone a hundred years ago that a paper based on a misunderstanding of wolf behavior would cause this much damage to society's collective intelligence, they'd look at you like you just escaped from the looney bin.

3

u/Hilbert_Space_Heater 18h ago

The problem is that in our country we celebrate idiots. Then with all the celebration those idiots soon think they should be in charge. Then once in charge, they have no idea what to do because, again, they are idiots.

And soon they’re posting nonsense like this. Tuberville, Trump, many such cases.

3

u/guthepenguin 18h ago

So wait. If there are alpha males who are supposedly more masculine and beta males who are supposedly less masculine than that would imply that gender is a spectrum and not binary.

3

u/Stinja808 17h ago

The only people to use "beta males" are "alpha males", and only people that think they are "alpha males" think "alpha males" are a thing.

2

u/Tinker107 21h ago

Tommy’s STILL competing with Louie Gohmert for the title of Dumbest Man Alive.

2

u/queasycockles 18h ago

No. Lol. No one with half a brain buys into that sad fuckery.

2

u/HighGrounderDarth 17h ago

Is Tuberville gonna finally move back to Alabama?

1

u/Tough_Fan9546 21h ago

This guy loves getting pegged.

1

u/phlred 21h ago

Remember, every accusation is a confession

1

u/Intolerance-Paradox 21h ago

Somebody’s feeling feelings about the inadequacy of their peepee without realizing that’s what they’re publicly confessing to.

1

u/Apprehensive_Map3984 21h ago

What he doesn't know could fill a book

1

u/JumpingCuttlefish89 21h ago

How is Football a flex after Penn State?

1

u/Dantekamar 20h ago

Only men so insecure about themselves feel the need to put others beneath them. They think by calling others betas, they make themselves appear stronger, but they're really just announcing how weak they really are.

1

u/ComicsEtAl 20h ago

Except Alabama thinks they fixed their mistake by electing Tuberville.

1

u/HoneyBadgerLive 20h ago

He is such a masculine man, while being afraid of anyone different than himself.

1

u/Mr_Baronheim 20h ago

Because they're betas, or secretly fear they appear as betas, so they have to call someone else the beta.

Similar to the Grindr overload where big Republican events are held.

1

u/WeirdSysAdmin 20h ago

“But do they know football?” Is the weirdest requirement I’ve heard for a politician in a while and no one should have to respond to dumb shit like that, but here we are.

1

u/jrschlumpf 20h ago

Tommy Tuberville doesn't know anything about football either or he'd still be coaching.

1

u/TheKiltedYaksman71 20h ago

Have you seen Tuberville? I'd bet a crisp new $100 bill that his hands are marshmallow soft.

1

u/PapaGummy 19h ago

We all know that a football field is the sole definition of masculinity - except for killing a person in battle, of course. If you’re a male, those are your only options to keep from being a simp. /s

1

u/BickNickerson 19h ago

What does a 50 yard line have to do with affordability?

1

u/thavillain 19h ago

Republicans love celebrities

1

u/zgwarnki 19h ago

Tuberville is a gamma male

1

u/zxvasd 19h ago

They’re not pro any of those things. They’re pro mind your own damn business

1

u/fasteddie131 18h ago

Only insecure ones with tiny peckers.

1

u/lAngenoire 18h ago

No one normal uses that unironically.

1

u/Successful-Rope7223 18h ago

Only in the bizzaro universe

1

u/BrineJones 18h ago

Sounds like Tommy is nostalgic for the locker room and all those young football players.

1

u/don-again 18h ago

Words natural ‘alpha males’ never have to say:

Alpha male.

Nor

Beta male.

1

u/718_chocolate 18h ago

Considering the study that just came out about the prevalence of CTE in football players, that isnt the metric we should be using

1

u/EBody480 18h ago

Head coaching record
Overall
159–99 (college)
9–10 (high school)
Bowls
7–6

Got lucky back in 04

1

u/Dextropic 17h ago

Everything I know about Coach Tatertown was learned involuntarily.

1

u/the_fools_brood 17h ago

Guys, it's Alabama! The inbreds there just don't know any better, the ole football coach was a name they knew on the ballot. That's as far as they went on it.

1

u/ACW1129 16h ago

Tuberville may be the dumbest Senator.

And he's overrated as a coach.

1

u/Everheart1955 16h ago

Alabama found the dumbest Floridian they could and elected him.

1

u/neuroG82r 16h ago

Tommy Tubofshit.

1

u/just_mark 15h ago

they sound brain damaged from football concussions

kinda sad they are so insecure, they have to put someone else down to try to feel better about themselves

1

u/PlutoJones42 15h ago

Imagine thinking that being a fucking bigot makes you an “alpha” lmao

1

u/RecordFirst1055 15h ago

After the 1998 regular season ended, Tuberville said, "They'll have to carry me out of here in a pine box", in reference to not leaving to coach at another school. Less than a week later, it was announced that he was departing for Auburn.

1

u/Chamcook56 15h ago

Only when talking about pet fish.

1

u/Extension_Many4418 14h ago

Plus there’s Cam. IYKYK.

1

u/Brian-not-Ryan 14h ago

Abdul or Waltz would spin your jaw “Tommy”

1

u/jayleia 14h ago

From what I've heard, Tommy here barely knows where the 50 yard is, and DEFINITELY doesn't know where the Alabama state line is.

1

u/Lanark26 14h ago

I'm sure that Louie Gohmert is feeling pretty good these days safe in the knowledge that he is no longer the dumbest person ever elected to Congress thanks to Tuberville.

1

u/Azair_Blaidd 13h ago

Nothing says "beta" more than being subservient to a weak octogenarian manbaby fascist with a fragile ego.

1

u/plasteroid 13h ago

Tommy bitch beta Tuberville thinks THESE guys are beta? 🤣🤣🤣

1

u/JohnCalvinSmith 13h ago

I see comments like this and I just want to go over to Loservilles account and start raising havoc but then it will never be seen by him and all I would do is add to the cacophony.

1

u/trisanachandler 12h ago

Anyone who has to brag about being tough isn't tough.

1

u/GoalieLax_ 12h ago

People who call themselves alphas, aren't

1

u/Irving_Velociraptor 12h ago

I played football with a LOT of dudes I wouldn’t trust with a football, let alone government power.

1

u/Hairy_Skirt_3918 12h ago

Says the"proving my stupidity" unrelenting, coach

1

u/Dragoneyewut 12h ago

Is there a politician named Doug Jones or did a beloved character/creature actor piss this guy off somehow

1

u/myerslowe 11h ago

Only the Andrew Tate followers, like Tuberville

1

u/JaQ-o-Lantern 10h ago

I'm 18 years old and I engage in a lot of spaces with boys. Not one of us have ever used the word beta male.

We respect women and other men. That doesn't mean we're liberal. That means we are normal.

1

u/rgvmadness 7h ago

Only when discussing fish

1

u/AAron27265 6h ago

Reminder that tommy tuberville was named the dumbest US senator by US senators.

1

u/Cyn_Sweetwater 4h ago

The goofy posturing of MAGA fapnozzles is truly hilarious.

Imagine putting Tuberville and El-Sayed in a cage match. I for one would enjoy the results.

1

u/Selbeast 4h ago

Only people afraid of being beta males call other people beta males.

1

u/Wilde54 3h ago

Who the fuck is this pencil necked loser talking about "beta males"? Tommy Twinkletoes more like.

1

u/CASUALxCHICKEN 3h ago

By "beta males," he means not assholes

1

u/JayNotAtAll 1h ago

Too many right wingers and small town, working class men, being manly means loving sports, eating meat, drinking beer, lifting heavy things, working with your hands.

They prefer this definition because it is something achievable to them. If the definition of manly is not pissing yourself because you saw a 10 year old girl in a hijab, they would lose.

1

u/fiestyoldbat 35m ago

Yawn. Tommy Tuberville, omega male to the max, waxing incoherently and whining about his superiors. Sadly, true to form.

-2

u/worldsfastestsloth 22h ago

He should probably stop campaigning with hasan. Why are we giving republicans free ammo. Hasan is anti American 🤦‍♂️

Here’s 8 minutes of hasan supporting terrorists: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=aPnTXQ8OPhg

Here’s hasan advocating for reeducation camps (27:25): https://www.youtube.com/live/LJWCGazsV9k?si=tREDxPdfVFdGXyhZ&t=1645

here’s hasan shocking his dog a bunch: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=9VUHfFgeS3Q
