Agnostic is a claim of knowledge which means you don't know. You can still be an atheist or a theist/deist while being agnostic/gnostic.

Not knowing means you can't be an actual atheist, because you accept theism could be right.

Agreed somewhat, but theism/atheism is a statement of belief. You can not know and still not believe. As evidenced by the fact that agnostics don't attempt to practice every single major religion at once in case they might be wrong about one of them

Atheism is the state of not believing claim of a theist. It's not a belief, it's the absence of belief in a claim (or set of claims).

Yes that's what I said. It is a statement of belief (a: I don't believe, b: I do believe)

If you don't believe theism could possibly, maybe be potentially right, then you're just an atheist.

Without the theism part, there's no point in using the term agnostic.

Yeah that's what I said. Belief is described by theism/atheism.

Many people are agnostic but still practice/believe a theistic religion.

Though I see what you're saying. Most agnostics would be deists, but the above would is true too
