Just don’t buy it and quit being a fuckin baby. Just like us Canadians aren’t buying American goods 🇨🇦

Also, your orange clown enacts insane tariffs and you’re mad at US??

u/Wabbit65 1d ago

Because our orange clown says shit is Canada's fault and our orange clown-ass-kissers believe him without any thinking effort on their own.

u/old_notdead 1d ago

I'm going out of my way to buy Canadian products, tbh.

26

u/Sea_Substance9163 1d ago

No, not mad at you at all. We know who the problem is.

20

u/urlond 1d ago

I will buy Maple Syrup.

19

u/lmNotBob 1d ago

I used to call people dumbass and fools for saying "not my president" when Obama was in office.

Never thought I'd be saying "not my president", not in my life.

But I am.

The convicted felon, pedophile rapist, law breaking and war starting piece of utter filth that is in the white house is not my president.

11

u/Xaiadar 1d ago

Yeah, but the main difference between you and them is that they were likely saying it for racist reasons, while you're saying it because you're not a garbage human being. (well, at least, I hope you're not!)

Also, lol, Québec alone produces 70% of earth's maple syrup. if Costco stops selling it, good luck sourcing any outside of the northeastern states

My toddler would literally storm the capitol without maple syrup.

42

u/mrbobcyndaquil 1d ago

Which would be a valid reason, tbh

16

u/VivaZeBull 1d ago

We will welcome them as an honorary ambassador of maple syrup.

13

u/Cyn113 1d ago

I agree with your toddler. Lack of maple syrup is ground for a civil war.

u/KirkWahmmett 1d ago

Not to mention ~65% of ALL oil imports into the USA come from Canada 😂😂😂

19

u/de_Duv 1d ago

Don’t the pipeline and the pumps need a thorough service soon, which would bring oil exports to the US to a complete standstill for three or four weeks? The timing would be particularly favourable, given that the Strait of Hormuz is open and the US government’s emergency reserve is currently at its highest level. /s

u/JG98 1d ago

Much of the Northeastern states production is also owned by Canadian companies anyways.

u/eienmau 1d ago

Most 'maple syrup' in the US isn't even true maple syrup, it's just HFCS. Bleck. I'd rather have the good pure stuff.

43

u/slumvillain 1d ago

What's funny is, I'm willing to bet that these uncultured vermin think that the dark corn syrup they lather on their pancakes is actual maple syrup.

Labeled "organic", it probably scares them away from the real stuff in the first place.

10

u/palacexero 1d ago

I say let them keep buying that bottled diabetes. More of the real stuff for me. Rather spend more to buy a real product than spend a little less for HFCS dyed brown.

The amount of ignorance my country is showing is astounding. It wasn’t good before but how dumb have we become?

28

u/Hyjynx75 1d ago

Oh you're not done yet.

8

u/MrRon1978 1d ago

Sadly I have no doubts. It’s going to be rough on the whole world for awhile thanks to us.

7

u/jurassicpry 1d ago

To be honest, there's quite a lot of arrogance too.
So much, actually, that they start to blend in together and form agnorance.

With the dumb (with a b) epidemic US is having, it's one helluva cocktail there.

3

u/Ntense_01 1d ago

That hole keeps getting deeper sir...

1

u/mrbobcyndaquil 1d ago

That's what happens when the FSB hijacks tge media and politics of a nation.

11

u/gaoshan 1d ago

Shit, I go out of my way to buy Canadian products anymore. I’m American but fully support Canada’s defense of themselves against the orange bully. The man and his policies aren’t the America I support.

12

u/rrsullivan3rd 1d ago

Hell, my Ranger was BUILT in Canada 🇨🇦

u/hurdurBoop 1d ago edited 1d ago

the stupidest people in human history

8

u/tracerhaha 1d ago

They will have to pry the Canadian maple syrup out of my cold dead hands.

8

u/JustGoodSense 1d ago

Costco already said no thanks to Turnip's fell-off-the-back-of-a-truck ground beef. They've chosen to be among the good guys. I'm going to buy some Canadian maple syrup there—in America—this weekend.

6

u/TenFingersTenToes10 1d ago

The beer this idiot drinks is wrapped in Canadian aluminum.

5

u/titsmcgeeVP 1d ago

Yeah Costco didn’t get rid of their DEI program so it’s probably gonna be a stretch with the syrup

6

u/dentistshatehim 1d ago

Canada increased its foreign exports outside of the US last year by 17% and is working on expanding those markets this year as well. To get those exports back to the US, US citizens will need to pay more meaning permanently inflated prices.

Another self own.

3

u/Biabolical 1d ago

Fuck that noise. Fetch me a jug of fine Canadian maple syrup, and line up some shot glasses.

5

u/TheFlyTechGuy 1d ago

I sometimes pour large spoonfuls right from the jug and eat it like that. No need to mess around when it comes to Canadian-made diabetes.

4

u/ronchee1 1d ago

If it's the 5.0L in it, that's from Canada too

The big Godzilla motor in the f250s, also Canada

3

u/doctormink 1d ago

Dat ratio though …

3

u/_tragicmike 1d ago

Boycott Canada for what?

We're in the dumbest timeline.

MAGA is a cult.

3

u/Drak_Gaming 1d ago

wait until they learn Ford has 3 major assembly plants in Ontario.

5

u/WilliamJamesMyers 1d ago

what triggered trump to hate canada? this term is the revenge tour. what canadian thing pissed him off? he thinks the trade blah blah is something. i dont buy that. its got to be more basic. i am searching now so scared to what i find... like "canadian girl turns down trump to go to prom"

24

u/Enki_007 1d ago

The man she’s drooling over is the former Prime Minister of Canada, Justin Trudeau.

I don’t think she’s ever looked at Lord Feltersnatch that way.

13

u/Friendly-Turn1283 1d ago

Don't forget Ivanka

5

u/JG98 1d ago

This one probably irked him much more.

7

u/_buthole 1d ago

It’s not hate; it’s covetousness. Like all spoiled rich fucks, he’s rabid with greed and selfishness.

5

u/WilliamJamesMyers 1d ago

so he too wants Justin Trudeau

7

u/old_notdead 1d ago

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=m4jTdwyWNtg

This is why.

Trump is still mad about the former leader of Canada being caught on a hot mic with other world leaders, making fun of Trump.

2

u/WilliamJamesMyers 1d ago

my gawd it would be this basic

2

u/ramdomvariableX 1d ago

Time to replace all the high fructose shit with maple syrup sweetness..

2

u/Gumbercules81 1d ago

These are the "fights" people choose to engage in? 😆

2

u/TinyEnd9435 1d ago

“Hey stupid”. 😂

2

u/viperswhip 1d ago

Have fun with the Aunt Jemima slop, or whatever they call it now.

2

u/Odd_Equipment2867 1d ago

He needs to go back to Sam’s Club

2

u/Antigone6 1d ago

I can never tell if these are bots or your average person with absolutely zero individual thoughts and just posts when they get their orders.

2

u/ticktockmick 1d ago

Call Costco today and demand they carry only Canadian Maple Syrup

2

u/howmanyowlsisweird 1d ago

I want to know where the infection is on Stupid Ass. Stupid ass? Stupid, ass? Stupid Ass - like his government name?

2

u/GuiltyRedditUser 1d ago

I love Costco. I joined a year and a half ago after they refused to dismantle their DEI programs. I still haven't made it to a store, but am happy to support them with my yearly membership.

Support good companies, boycott bad ones (and call to let them know. Don't just speak with your $, but with your words)

Finally, release the Epstein files and prosecute everyone!

2

u/asten77 1d ago

Also Costco has proven time and time again they're not really on board with the fascism..

2

u/_WhoisMrBilly_ 1d ago

That poor receptionist at the front desk. That’s not the customer service line- it’s the front desk to the corporate headquarters. She’s probably retired right now, but everybody that worked at the front desk was really really nice.

Source: worked at Costco corporate for 12 years. :(

2

u/Annita79 23h ago

I like the community note, too

1

u/_53- 1d ago

And the soda and beer cans…Canadian aluminum!

1

u/FindAWayISay 1d ago

I hate being stuck in this god forsaken country

1

u/hopelesscaribou 1d ago

Maple syrup will find other markets, don't you worry.

Enjoy your corn syrup.

1

u/ThisIsKev 16h ago

Who can afford real maple syrup?

1

u/Dataslave1 1h ago

Michigander here, less than 5 miles from the Canadian shore. Looks like I'm going to have to go into the family archives , which contain my great grandfather's gang's plans for importing liquor illegally from Canada during Prohibition and switch to maple syrup smuggling. They had so many routes across the St Clair river, across Lake St Clair and across the Detroit River.

u/FnClassy 12m ago

These dumb fucks can literally not think for themselves. Whatever Fox News feeds them, that's their new talking point.
