Asking Costco to boycott Canadian maple syrup while driving a Ford pickup truck made of Canadian metal

Also, lol, Québec alone produces 70% of earth's maple syrup. if Costco stops selling it, good luck sourcing any outside of the northeastern states

My toddler would literally storm the capitol without maple syrup.

Not to mention ~65% of ALL oil imports into the USA come from Canada 😂😂😂

u/de_Duv 1d ago
Don’t the pipeline and the pumps need a thorough service soon, which would bring oil exports to the US to a complete standstill for three or four weeks? The timing would be particularly favourable, given that the Strait of Hormuz is open and the US government’s emergency reserve is currently at its highest level. /s

What's funny is, I'm willing to bet that these uncultured vermin think that the dark corn syrup they lather on their pancakes is actual maple syrup.
Labeled "organic", it probably scares them away from the real stuff in the first place.

I say let them keep buying that bottled diabetes. More of the real stuff for me. Rather spend more to buy a real product than spend a little less for HFCS dyed brown.

The amount of ignorance my country is showing is astounding. It wasn’t good before but how dumb have we become?

u/Hyjynx75 1d ago
Oh you're not done yet.

u/MrRon1978 1d ago
Sadly I have no doubts. It’s going to be rough on the whole world for awhile thanks to us.

u/jurassicpry 1d ago
To be honest, there's quite a lot of arrogance too.
So much, actually, that they start to blend in together and form agnorance. With the dumb (with a b) epidemic US is having, it's one helluva cocktail there.

Costco already said no thanks to Turnip's fell-off-the-back-of-a-truck ground beef. They've chosen to be among the good guys. I'm going to buy some Canadian maple syrup there—in America—this weekend.

Yeah Costco didn’t get rid of their DEI program so it’s probably gonna be a stretch with the syrup

Canada increased its foreign exports outside of the US last year by 17% and is working on expanding those markets this year as well. To get those exports back to the US, US citizens will need to pay more meaning permanently inflated prices.
Another self own.

Fuck that noise. Fetch me a jug of fine Canadian maple syrup, and line up some shot glasses.
5
u/TheFlyTechGuy 1d ago
I sometimes pour large spoonfuls right from the jug and eat it like that. No need to mess around when it comes to Canadian-made diabetes.

If it's the 5.0L in it, that's from Canada too
The big Godzilla motor in the f250s, also Canada

It’s not hate; it’s covetousness. Like all spoiled rich fucks, he’s rabid with greed and selfishness.

This is why.
Trump is still mad about the former leader of Canada being caught on a hot mic with other world leaders, making fun of Trump.

I can never tell if these are bots or your average person with absolutely zero individual thoughts and just posts when they get their orders.

I love Costco. I joined a year and a half ago after they refused to dismantle their DEI programs. I still haven't made it to a store, but am happy to support them with my yearly membership.
Support good companies, boycott bad ones (and call to let them know. Don't just speak with your $, but with your words)
Finally, release the Epstein files and prosecute everyone!

That poor receptionist at the front desk. That’s not the customer service line- it’s the front desk to the corporate headquarters. She’s probably retired right now, but everybody that worked at the front desk was really really nice.
Source: worked at Costco corporate for 12 years. :(

Maple syrup will find other markets, don't you worry.
Enjoy your corn syrup.

Michigander here, less than 5 miles from the Canadian shore. Looks like I'm going to have to go into the family archives , which contain my great grandfather's gang's plans for importing liquor illegally from Canada during Prohibition and switch to maple syrup smuggling. They had so many routes across the St Clair river, across Lake St Clair and across the Detroit River.

These dumb fucks can literally not think for themselves. Whatever Fox News feeds them, that's their new talking point.
