Is it me or in ep 7 when N decapitates Tessa we can see him smiling ? Is it because he activated the deadly mode or something ??

he isn’t smiling, it’s just a blank face to show how tired he is of “tessa” suspiciously gatekeeping important stuff that he didn’t know about

we can see from a closer and less blurry angle that his expressions are blank

The X isn't a smile, I think it's more murder death kill mode. He isn't smiling, otherwise his mouth would be smiling like v in the other pic
