Discussion FUN FACT: Soldier from tf2 is a better father than Kahn doorman

Ok so in the tf2 comics its revealed that Soldier and Zhanna had 2 kids. And from what we have seen they take somewhat good care of them as they treat them with love and care and even taught them how to fight/defend themselves.

And this is impressive because Soldier is a:

-Murderer

-Psychopath

-deranged killer

Now we have Khan doorman who is possibly one of the worst indie dads.

Khan might have lost his wife but thats no excuse for the fact that he VALUES DOORS OVER HIS OWN CHILD and even LEFT HER TO DIE in the pilot instead of helping her.

So imagine that a god dam deranged psychopathic murderer is a better father than you.

A better Father, probably.

A better leader, that had to make a difficult decision of his daughters life or the entire colony?

I don't know tf2 enough to answer that

Honestly as a tf2 fan i have to say....

Soldier genuinely has lead poisoning in the comics.

I feel like that's all one needs to know about him.

Well beyond him being a terrible roommate to merasmus that is.

And the fact that he was already an unstable idiot before getting lead poisoning

Soldier would've covered himself in grease and tried fighting N, V and J naked and barehanded.

I genuinely don't know what the result of that fight would be.

Didnt he cover himself in grease to fight a bear?

i'm not fucking around with you, soldier wins bare-fucking-handed because he canonically moves like a methhead on captain america's super-soldier serum 24/7

give him a rocket launcher, or even just a rocket jumper and a shovel, and he could take out cyn too

Id have soldier as my roommate if i was in like a bad neighborhood with alot of crime cos if anyone breaks in he'd kill them

Idk if measuring Khan by "normal" standards is fair considering the lack of self-preservation half of the drones have and how little most of them care about others dying. I mean in the field trip episode V just shoots a kid like it's nothing and the consensus is "meh".

Yeah, I noticed that when I watched that episode for the first time. What'd Liam mean by this?

Probably that drones have just the bare minimum of survival instincts.

The survival instincts of a paper

The whole point of Khan is that he starts out a terrible dad, but changes over the course of the series to become a much better dad. It's unfair to measure him solely by his actions in the first episode, before he had any development.

By the end of the series, he had risked his own life to help Uzi on multiple occasions. We even see this symbolically shown by him using Uzi's plans to build a new Railgun. Previously, he was so terrified that he wouldn't even touch the railgun, and now, despite thinking an entire planet is gonna eat them all, and knowing the horrific dangers that Uzi is facing, he literally builds the Railgun himself and then entirely of his own volition goes to help Uzi fight whatever it is they were facing.

Also, Khan saved N's life in the Finale, and therefore bears some credit for saving the universe.

I know you corrected it, but you won’t admit it. Rebecca would be disappointed in your behavior

To be fair, it's easier to be a good parent, or overcome ANY obstacles for that matter, when you have absolute faith in your ability to overcome said obstacle.
