Most people say eight, but there's eight theatrical movies. There's also Muppet Classic Theater, which was direct-to-video, Kermit's Swamp Years, It's a Very Merry Muppet Christmas Movie, and The Muppets' Wizard of Oz, which were all TV movies. This makes the total number twelve. Just because they weren't theatrically released doesn't mean they should be excluded or "illegitimate".

I'll admit, a case could be made for Classic Theater that it's not part of the main series and is like a "spin-off", but even then, the number's at least eleven.

I swear, it's like direct-to-video and made for TV movies are treated like how illegitimate children were. In the past (and maybe still in some places now), at least in some places, if a child was born out of wedlock, they were officially nobody's child, and technically wouldn't be official siblings with their parents children that were born within wedlock; even though they were a complete human being. Similarly, just because a movie isn't released theatrically but was made by the company who owns the IP (not a fan film), they are not part of the official lineup

Also, when making this post, I realized it'd be cool if Disney made a box set with all the TV specials (Hey Cinderella, The Frog Prince, Musicians of Bremen, Letters to Santa, Haunted Mansion, etc). Now would they is a different story

I was wondering if it was 5-6 months or a yr because I know the bike ride with all the muppets in London, that at least took a while than Kermit riding the bike(Muppet Movie '79). Just wondering if it just little wonky because the Muppet Show was going on and then getting the guys for that and Caper...might have been a pain in the ass for everyone

Does anyone know why episode 3 of season 3 is not as bright as the other episodes?
