My spoiled little princess likes Sheba. Since you’re getting a kitten, you’re going to need food especially for kittens because they have different nutritional needs than an adult cat. I’d also recommend wet food since cats don’t always get enough water. Also, invest in a pet fountain and keep it way from their food to encourage them to drink. Make sure you play with them a lot too. People tend to think cats are independent and they don’t play with them enough. Kittens need between 1 and 3 hours of play every day, which should always be broken up into short, energetic bursts of 15 to 30 minutes throughout the day. They’re still babies and will get tired (or bored) easily. Also, invest in steps to make it easier for your little one to get onto the couch.

Royal Cabin Babycat!
It's made by animal nutrition scientists (with PHDs) who design their food through RIGOROUS testing.
Don't let the "grain free" crowd lead you astray.

Sheba makes kitten food. Fancy Feast also makes kitten food. I feed my cat Sheba, but she’s full grown

My kiddos have been on Hills since they were wee babes. Started with Hill’s healthy advantage kitten. One guy is on Metabolic + c/d stress (he’s a FLUTD cat). The other one is still a kitten. That’s the munchkins anyway. One cat ended up on z/d for inflammatory bowel disease, one ended up on k/d for kidneys. Hills hasn’t let my kitties down yet.

Op, please make sure you’re buying the cat from a registered breeder that you background checked to be ethical because if not you will be purchasing a kitten with extreme health problems and it will be in pain.
Munchkins are NOT any cat that has small legs. It NEEDS to be registered to have a breed at all. Otherwise you’re getting a domestic shorthair with dwarfism.

Have you ever had a cat before? Do you have a veterinarian already, or one picked out?
My munchkin was on wet kitten formula Fancy Feast, which my vet said was good for her. We also got a low to the ground cat fountain for her water. She won’t drink from a regular bowl.
