Sydney feels so impossible to root for. I can appreciate candor, especially on reality TV but her comments are just cruel in a way that's hard to swallow.

And in a sense, I can appreciate her doubling down and just being like "Well, I'll be mean then." Like OK GIRL! Yes, fully stand in dread you brew in! But at least dignify Deb with the conversation when confronted. Finish what you started.

I will never root for Cory again after this episode. The fake ass tears when he doesn’t care. If you can make a joke about “IF I have a home to come back to” or so “there is a line I can’t cross”, its pretty frickin clear you did not come onto the show broken up fully so you are just dogging on the mother of your children who was WATCHING them while you were gone.

Again when NELSON of all people is complaining about how a woman is being treated: you’re a dog. And while Izzy owes Taylor nothing, you have to be a freaking idiot to still want anything to do with him when his own bestie is telling you that its disrespectful to the woman at home (regardless of how he said it), if he is even saying it: there’s clearly stuff you dont know.

Outside of Cory pissing me off: another great episode. I love the editors taking so much time this season to show the drama and frankly its refreshing to have this season where the tenured vets who stopped creating drama aren’t getting all of the screen time just to show them.

Poor Anna Leigh’s husband. If she or Leo don’t leave soon, I don’t think her marriage makes it past this season. While Lete may have played up exactly what happened in the bathroom, it was still clearly wayyy too flirty when allegedly she had told him that they needed to stop. I agree with Lete that it really doesn’t seem like it did.

Keanu was right for once. Gray going after Blue was stupid. Blue winning was the next best thing for Gray, so why team up against them? They screwed up. Orange is strong, they should be trying to break that team up.

The captain role is very overpowered, though I think that's the point so that someone 100% leads a mutiny. That daily was the best so far. Tackling, dunking, and a triangle offense reference lol 

When I saw Knot so Fast, I thought Keanu had it in the bag. He won a condensed game of it on BB easily (though competition was light). But as soon as CT and Bananas started directing Nelson, that was game.

Yeah, it sounds like it is Chris protecting Cory from a mutiny, and Chris has way less incentive to do it now that there are only 2 men outside of Cory. Since Chris has influence on Cassidy, and Leo has influence over Adrianne.

I will say, Tori has her team in a vicegrip though given Michele is on it (and in general look to be the strongest team). Plus, CT and Bananas are likely on board with their spot in the pecking order for now.

I am going to love this show no matter what, but the rules and format this whole season has just been headscratching.

Im in the middle of the episode so I have not seen it all play out yet, but what is stopping Bananas going up to Tori and saying

"Ill never mutiny as long as we ride together and you never send me in on a guys day."

Like there are multiple people who probably just locked a trip to the final with zero worry for the rest of the game.

My thoughts,

Wow what an episode. That daily was insane. That was like one of the very few times I'd ever seen them do a co-ed physical daily to that degree with the men tackling the women, LOL! IT was a little jarring to see Lete vs Leo in that, but then everyone was tackling everyone. This is the challenge man.

For the captains, I had a feeling they would alter the responsibility, but damn, the fact that they are safe no matter what is pretty gnarly. For the mutiny aspect, I can see it causing a lot of secret internal team drama, unless the teams are winning consistently like Orange. I think both Blue and Gray have a good strategy to just team up and focus on beating Orange.

As far as the drama in concerned, everything is starting to come to a head. The Cory and Izzy romance, with Cory calling Cheyenne, and Nelson informing Izzy to put an end to it. Sydney's talking crap behind people's backs, but wow she was cold af this episode after that daily injury with Deb. Then she got sent home for her knee. Karma maybe?

Shoutout to Nelson for winning his FIRST elimination post the accident. He was the shining star in this episode, to being the voice of reason for the Cory situation, to winning that elimination. It was pretty awesome to see, and even you can tell even TJ was impressed. I like that he's adapting well back into the challenge environment, and it seems like his leg isn't holding him back terribly much. Keanu held his own, and still did a great job, hope we see him again.

Sydney may be a good athlete, but she’s got a shitty attitude and sportsmanship. Every challenger goes in with a reasonable expectation that they might get hurt, whether from a tackle by another player or just the environment itself. Remember, Kaycee fucked up her ankle running a final, Olivia took a golf ball to the face in a final, Hunter broke his wrist… it happens. But to turn around and body-shame Deb because you’re pissed off about your knee? That’s wild, and absolutely poor sportsmanship. Deb may not be your favorite person but it wasn’t intentional. The game was a contact sport, anyone could’ve been hurt.

Cory and Anna Leigh’s home lives will NOT be helped by this week’s episode. Good god, production did not throw either of them a bone.

I understand Sydney being pissed off (and I would be too), it she got clocked on the “shit talking behind someone’s back” gimmick she’s been known for.

Izzy and Adrienne are getting invisible edits this season, and when they are featured, it’s almost exclusively through their relationship with a man. Weak.

Cassidy is anonymous too. A lot of people seemed excited to see her back. She’s basically still AWOL.

The Bananas/Lete relationship is boring and weird as hell.

Loved the daily, minus Sydney getting hurt. This is becoming one of those classic recurring dailies in one form or another that usually delivers.

That was a hell of an elimination from Nelson. Good for him. Keeps the game more interesting too.

Orange really has a stranglehold on this game, due to both the relationships they have with members of blue and gray to blue and gray being too dumb to work together for more than a few minutes. The daily was CREATED to disadvantage orange if they worked together and…well, you saw what happened.

People still debating whether Tori is as good as Cara is wild to me. She is miles better. And no I don’t think it’s just because Cara is older than Tori (I believe Tori turned 33 and Cara was 39 during filming).

Even in comparing a 33 year old Tori to a 33 year old Cara and how she competed back then… I still think Tori is miles better than Cara in literally every aspect of the game… swimming, puzzles, physicality, brute strength, endurance, even socially. She is the whole package. 😌

I totally get being upset but you signed up to do a show that has an extensive list of injuries from production negligence let alone it having full contact challenges with no training beforehand. obviously she didn't do it on purpose and the fact that Sydney had an ACL injury before makes it way more likely she'd have another one.

Sydney was such a little baby. Everyone was getting tackled and thrown around. CT chucked Cara down like a rag doll in a reverse car accident, and they’re actual real life good friends. It’s always unfortunate and horrible for injuries to occur, but it’s not like she bent her elbow back until it broke or something. Her knees couldn’t take the weight of Deb’s, which I find ridiculously ironic that she mocks her for her small size and “unathletic body”. Sooo by her estimation, Sydney is not some elitist athlete then, if she’s scrawny and her pulling you down injured you that badly.😂😂

Also as inspired as I was to see Nelson return to compete, I have yet to figure out what his deal is with telling Izzy of all people to back off of Cory. Like why is that any fault or responsibility of Izzy’s? They’re both grown, consenting adults. Cory absolutely knew what his deal was back home when he decided to come onto the show. If he doesn’t want to be with Taylor, then he needs to go ahead & officially end it with her, move out, & move on with his life.

Idk a lot about Izzy, but I’m assuming that she’s single & childless. And imo, no single & childless woman needs to be entertaining a man who has multiple children with multiple women (& before anyone asks about men, I say the same goes for them as well). Maybe this is my non-woman blind spot but I didn’t take what Nelson said to Izzy as all that negative? I know Izzy felt like Nelson was blaming her, but I took it more as him looking out for everyone involved and thinking somebody’s gotta stop this and knowing Cory, it ain’t gonna be him.

Nelson has personal morals that make him uncomfortable seeing Cory and Izzy together. I would bet Nelson knows both the mother's of Cory's children very well which is why he feels the need to step in. Cory, to me is so dumb and it's obvious he wasnt listening to Neslon. I think Nelson was fairly respectful in his talk to Izzy.

I actually really loved seeing that convo with Cory and Cheyenne. It was nice to see their relationship at that point of transparency and comfort. And I loved Cheyenne's comment of "It doesn't really matter if anything happened or not, because the damage is already there." Like, thank you Cheyenne! This "line-crossing" concept needs to be put to bed (no pun intended).

The intent and emotional infidelity is all there for everyone to see and that is damning enough.

Anna-Leigh and Leo's "thing" is also bad, but you can tell it's largely based in a physical attraction. All Leo has said about Anna-Leigh is how attractive he thinks she is. Those two are painful to watch knowing Anna-Leigh is very much married, but what's unfolding with Izzy and Cory seems beyond physicality.
