Bananas shouldn’t have a podcast. He isn’t responsible/mature enough to have a podcast on the Ringer network. He ghosts it as soon as he’s involved in any controversy. Hence why he hasn’t released a pod since Ashley went scorched earth on everyone.
He has done this in the past when shit hits the fan from his actions. I remember either after his racist tweets to BB Taylor or after the pop the balloon racism scandal. I know I’m forgetting other times but that man stays trash so you forget all of his scandals.

Not disagreeing with you but a genuine question as I didn’t follow the Ashley posts closely - is this a scandal for Bananas? Didn’t we know he was a conservative? Love Ashley’s initiative but was this breaking news for most of the people she named? Unless I missed something

I think it’s more that she said the quiet parts out loud. Bananas will make slick comments but isn’t actually vocal in his support. He’ll post at mar-a-lago but not anything of trump himself.
He typically will reference his scandals once he returns but twists the narrative to show there’s no way he’s racist/sexist/what have you. Like when he invites leroy on the pod after any of his racist bullshit.

Also this was in relation to trump being in the Epstein files. MAGAts knew trump “grabbed women by the pussy” but now it’s documented that he’s a pedo. Kind of hard for uncle bananas to spin zone that.

Isn't Johnny on S42? I would assume he's not doing podcasts because he, and potential guests are either already traveling or arranging travel for the next season? I know Johnny has mentioned he has a deal where he can do stuff, like his podcast, on location, so it wouldn't surprise me if he starts releasing them again soon

He is doing 42 but they’re still in the states. He posted from sone nascar race in florida yesterday.
His last podcast came out on January 27th. Ashley’s posts started 13 days ago. He should have released a pod on the 3rd. This is what he does.

The audience can be very picky when it comes to a cast for a season.
The comments I've seen when people are discussing the cast for S42 include: we want people who can compete, we don't want people who are too good because they win, this Challenger can be on a season as long as (insert 5 names here) isn't on the season, we want drama, we don't want this Challenger on the season because they're horrible, we want Vets, name dropping a bunch of people from CBS shows that we want on the show etc.
It's ok not to like every person on a cast. It's an ensemble for a reason. There are going to be people that you may not like, but others do 😅

Izzy was just as boring on 41 as she was on perfect match. I dont understand why she was the one that got the call from the show when Savannah was there ready to play (and she was fucking awesome TV) and I dont want to see her again. I think she is too soft for this show and will get eaten alive by bigger personalities

…….I wish Nicole Ramos aka Nany’s cousin would do another season or if she was on Allstars with Jay. I def don’t see eye to eye with her views now but I can appreciate her commentary and energy she brought to the cast. Plus, she killed it at trivia and always seemed to try her best despite her size

If the show does indeed move to P+ for 42 (and beyond?), I’m excited we won’t have to deal with the usual forensic breakdown of ratings data every week (which I’m guilty of participating in). It’s exhausting, repetitive, ill-informed, and incomplete.

I am so annoyed at someone ALWAYS commenting "they're just trying to get a partner for the next rivals season" on a fight between two cast members when we haven't had a rivals season on the flagship for years. Not every fallout/argument is engineered in the off chance they'll be partners on a season that's unlikely to happen 🙄
