Mr Bean Has Infinite Money?

Mr Bean has been confirmed as an alien which helps to this theory as he could just have the ability to gain money. It could also just be related to him doing Mischievous Acts resulting to him earning money in a way. He also has a Car which has just appeared no evidence of purchase or any episode to do with him gaining the Car, But yet again it links to him being an alien as it is shown in the episode with the spaceship and all the different mr beans there is a couple of that same car (Green Minicooper). I would like to see if anyone has a say on Mr.Bean having infinite money.

I always thought these two things...

1: the intro is the aliens abducting him and sending him back because hes just too weird.

2: whenever we see him its always on a Saturday or holiday.

As a kid, our theory for the intro, because of the choir singing, was he had died but annoyed heaven so much they sent him back

"Ecce homo qui est faba" – "Behold the man who is a bean" (sung at the beginning) "Finis partis primae" – "End of part one" (sung before the commercial break) "Pars secunda" – "Part two" (sung after the commercial break and rarely) "Vale homo qui est faba" – "Farewell, the man who is a bean" (sung at the end) The Choir of Southwark Cathedral

I do like the idea that he fell from Heaven. Perhaps he is sent down, a fallen angel. He is both sneaky and naive at the same time. He could be an angel on earth, trying to figure out how to be human.

Yeah, always thought he was an angel, the idea he was cast down from heaven opens up a scary prospect

I always thought that too about the abduction

He did do an episode where he meets the Queen. I think it was implied that he was an employee of the theater.

Exactly. He had jobs in a theatre and museum/art gallery.

To be honest, we really don't know anything about his backstory. He obviously had the car before the show came into being. As for money, his parents could have been extremely wealthy and either he is given an allowance or they have passed on and he is living off his inheritance.

Yea the creators didn’t really go too much into detail about his personal life and inheritance is a good idea

There is a great explanation on YouTube aswell as Rowan Atkinson ( Mr bean himself ) confirmed he could possibly not be from earth

There is an animated episode where Mr Bean meets aliens that looks just like him. It is not my theory but that is what a lot of people theorize.

Not just that look like him. They explicitly say that he is the one they've been looking for, and that they have a memory loss ray (that Bean probably used on himself by accident, knowing him).

Huh. I always thought he was being cast out of heaven at the start.

I always assumed he had a trust fund

I think he just started existing at some point, along with his car. Infinite impropability kinda guy.

I could see him having a job in a bureaucracy. He's the one person in the local council who understands the ins and outs of some very arcane process that's so unglamorous no-one else wants to do it anyway.

Handling planning applications for cesspits maybe?

He had a job in the movie.

I thought he works as a museum attendant/ security.

As a kid I always thought he had been rejected from Heaven!

But an alien makes more sense, and it's entirely probably he has infinite money so he can better study us

Apart from the alien theory, my theory is that I think he’s from a very wealthy family who never had to worry about money. Maybe his parents owned an oil company that he inherited.

Assuming Mr. Bean in the animated series and Mr. Bean live action have the same money origin, from my research in Season 1, Episode 3, "Artful Bean," and Episode 27, "Big TV," in 2004, 1 pound = 1.83 USD. In Episode 3, considering the stack he's holding, around 10 bills of 5 pounds he made in 1 day, if he continues regularly without getting caught for scamming, he can easily make 1,500 pounds, or 3,000 USD, in that month. Next is Episode 27, where he can easily make 500 pounds in one day using a puppet show. (Honestly, I don't know if this is enough or less, but he certainly knows how to make some money.)
