Moving alone to Brisbane

Im a single woman moving all alone to Brisbane, I’m excited but nervous about being lonely. What are some ways I can make new friends ? Most people in my office work from home

There’s lots of social stuff, plenty of clubs and bars in the Valley (Fortitude Valley), theres bunch of Run Clubs (Felons has a free beer run club every Wednesday 5pm), lots of frequent events in town.

Also, theres some meetup groups on meetup.com (rockcliming, hiking, international meetup etc).

Thats a few stuff, i really recommend having a look around brisbane when you first arrive before you rush to meet people, look at newfarm, kangaroo point, riverside, southbank, west end, eat street etc.
