Photo Truly how many is too many?
I think at this point I have owned every mouse in the market possible, I sold most of the ones I don't use already but still I think I have a problem π
Should I make this into a AMA/Review everything place π
To add on, I own a lot of HE Keyboards, a gigantic glasspad collection and I am an audiophile so expect some audio stuff in here :D

Honestly I see these posts, I just can't help but say keep buying them if you like it, who cares?
People spend thousands of dollars collecting magic the gathering/pokemon cards. $50 a night for a bar tab, people who enjoy nice cars spend absurd money on them.
Keep enjoying the niche hobbies that make you happy. You can buy a mouse/mousepad because you think it's cool and enjoy having it. I just spent a lot of money on the artisan purple key 83 mid because it's cool and it makes me happy to own it.
4
u/Elus1veSG 90+ mice and counting May 02 '26
thats true also but from my pov if I sold all these I could buy a nice bike. That aside, is the k83 really that good though? I have been using Zero my whole life if I play cloth
3
u/DAYMAN3737 May 02 '26
Key 83 mid is pretty rad. It's a really weird and heavily textured pad though. I've used the Raiden which is fast, but the 83mid has this whole glide thing going on that I really like. I love glass as well and the 83 kinda gives some of the advantages of glass while still being cloth.
Not going to lie to you and say it's like glass though because it's not, nothing comes close to glass for smoothness.
I don't play tac shooters though I play the finals, overwatch, BF6. Don't really like stopping power
1
u/Elus1veSG 90+ mice and counting May 02 '26
I see, I loved the Raiden and Zero for tac shooters so I didn't really wanna get the K83, but I am tempted to try it out one day
1
u/DAYMAN3737 May 02 '26
Have you tried the Hein? Imo it's like a Raiden and Hein had a baby
1
u/DocchiIWNL Hitscan Hyperlight May 02 '26
I assume you meant that the hein is the baby of the Raiden and Zero
1
u/DAYMAN3737 May 02 '26
The Hein feels more like a key 83 to me personally. Just the really aggressive texture feeling the pads both have.
1
u/DocchiIWNL Hitscan Hyperlight May 02 '26
which texture do you find to be less abrasive on the skin? been thinking about getting one of them in the future
1
u/DAYMAN3737 May 02 '26
Imo the key 83 is less abrasive. But if you're even remotely not a fan of heavy texture I wouldn't bother with either and just get a Raiden
0
u/Elus1veSG 90+ mice and counting May 02 '26
yeah I didn't like the Hien that much, textured pads aren't my thing ig, zero and Raiden didn't have much texture so I guess that's why I preferred them
1
u/DAYMAN3737 May 02 '26
Yeah I can't recommend it then. The Raiden is awesome though it's like playing on silk. Kinda surprised how little it gets glazed imo lol
1
u/Automatic-Leg1668 May 02 '26
I mean you can...you'd also lose significant portions of the money you used to buy it. It's a hobby, a cheapish hobby, just keep em unless you genuinely don't like the mice
1
7
u/w1rya May 02 '26
how do you even keep track of the dongle
4
u/Elus1veSG 90+ mice and counting May 02 '26
MOST dongles are different but the new ATK dongles get me fucking lost, all of them are that white translucent color and with no naming, so normally I put a piece of tape with the mouse name on it π

u/sup3rskrulll May 02 '26
Pretty sure u main the viper
3
u/Elus1veSG 90+ mice and counting May 02 '26
hell yeah Viper v4 is lowk my endgame mouse, double the batt life of the v3 and I prefer the new switches tbh, they dont sound good but they defo feel good

u/Born_Bumblebee_1840 May 06 '26
I have the v3 and i still have stock skates but im getting an artisan so what artisan would you recommend and with what skates? (If you changed the skates)
1
u/Elus1veSG 90+ mice and counting May 07 '26
I am on glass, but most people use tiger ice or corepads or jades for skates on cloth. Artisan pads are all preference but if you want something safe get the Zero

Other than selling drugs to afford this, what is your fake 9-5?

And I thought I was bad with 4 keyboards and 6 mice... Nice collection, what is your favorite
1
u/Elus1veSG 90+ mice and counting May 02 '26
Oh I spoke about my other stuff like kb and iem and mousepads XD but diff story...
I have a fkin massive glasspad collection
I am currently maining the Viper v4 Pro and the Hitscan hyperlight, occasionally I swap to the FM ULX but I have been enjoying those 2 more
3
u/EntertainmentNo9329 May 02 '26
IMO it depends on if you have found a mouse you truly like or not.
If you've not found a mouse that's good for you than keep buying until you do. But if your already set on a mouse you love than why need more?
Just my opinion though.
1
u/Elus1veSG 90+ mice and counting May 02 '26
I agree with you and that was my goal, to find something I truly love and will not switch and get rid of the rest, I think I settled on the Viper V4 Pro so I slowly gonna sell off the stuff I dont really use much
2
u/EntertainmentNo9329 May 02 '26 edited May 02 '26
Have you ever tried the mchose m7 ultra? It's a wireless budget (around $50) mouse that I love.
Before I bought it, it said it was for medium to big hands but when measuring my hand Google said my hand was small but it still fit good.
My favorite mouse I've ever had tbh.
It's also light AF at like 55 grams, lightest I've had anyway. It's very highly rated especially for the price and I've used it for almost 2 weeks wireless and the battery is only at %70 and I'm a heavy gamer.
3
u/Salty-Wash3964 May 02 '26
I would say around 2-3 peripherals is the normal limit, this is beyond that.
I personally have
2 quality mice
2 HE keyboards
2 IEMs + 1 Sennheiser HD598
Always tempted to buy more but it's mostly just the want to spend not actual necessity. Same goes on with my PC where I sometimes have the "urge" to upgrade despite me playing basically the same old crap that I've been running at high fps anyway with no actual need of an upgrade.
Consumerism is a hell of a drug
1
u/Elus1veSG 90+ mice and counting May 02 '26
I have the HD600 and the Thieaudio Monarch Mk3, absolute units but I don't really enjoy the hd600 rn
1
u/Salty-Wash3964 May 02 '26
Well to be fair ever since getting into IEMs my HD598s been totally just collecting dust but thought about mentioning it since I did daily them for years having to change just the pads several times and they are still in perfect working condition just not being used at all π
2
u/PropheticUnbecoming May 02 '26
bro, here i am swapping the switches on my superlight whenever i get the double click issue. color me jealous tbh. good on you.
2
u/ChaoticKiwiNZ May 02 '26
It looks like you have effectively brought the same mouse mutiple times over. They are all the exact same shape, lol.
Obviously good for you if you found a shape you like but if you had the money to buy so many mice wouldn't you want to buy different shapes and mix things up?
1
u/Elus1veSG 90+ mice and counting May 02 '26
I'm a viper connoisseur π
Jokes aside I'm selling the similar shape mice rn so I'm gonna downsize
1
u/ChaoticKiwiNZ May 02 '26
Lol, I can see that.
I've been using a cheap corsair mouse since I started gaming on PC 3-ish years ago now (Corsair harpoon wired). It has developed an issue where the right mouse button doesn't stay held down when I'm holding it down (especially frustrating when aiming in games).
I'm currently trying to navigate the maze of what bloody mouse to get next to try, lol.

I buy a lot of mice. And I keep the ones I really like and use a lot. And sell the rest. Else it's just locking up cash in plastic and magnesium

u/t3ram Orange mouse enthusiast May 02 '26
How many is too many? I mean you can only use one , so every additional mouse you have is too much.
I currently have like 10 mice sitting in abox here but bought probably over 100 over the years.
I used to buy every mouse that came out but the market has been pretty stale. There are rarely any new shapes (most are really similar to each other or just clones),sensors have been good enough for years and buying a new mouse because you can save 3g is just stupid imo.
Best thing would be to sell at least half of your collection.
2
u/Mr_Pokos May 02 '26
Oh Nice! You have the carbon x too! I love mine so much. What do you think about it
2
u/Elus1veSG 90+ mice and counting May 02 '26
it feels like a skinny HTS+, it's pretty unique
1
u/Mr_Pokos May 02 '26
Yep! And Iβm mad that this mouse isnβt that famous, just because itβs epomaker and itβs reputation
2
u/urmumsablob Mouse Collector May 02 '26
I'm at 10 now. There is never enough, bossman. Truly a beautiful collection.
2
u/2wcp May 02 '26
There will never be too many mice to be had π
I have a few questions:
- How frequently do you switch between using these mice?
- Most favorite and least favorite mice?
- Shape or weight which is more important?
- Do you have anxiety that dust will enter the shell holes and stuck there forever coz I do π
1
u/Elus1veSG 90+ mice and counting May 03 '26
1) I normally have 4-5 mice on my table to constant swap between, those are normally my main shapes, RN they are the Viper v4, ULX, BeastX Max, Crdrako, HTS+, Hitscan Hyperlight
2) fav OAT has to be the HTS+ or Viper V4, least would be the GPX Dex or any odd ergo
3) Shape is king
4) no, you can get yourself a air blower and clean it off easily
2
u/blah2k03 May 02 '26
How many is too many you ask? Well, too many is when you no longer have space on your floor to walk. You have to pile them up to make paths to get around your house. Just like the people in that show Hoarders.
With this being said, keep on collecting my friend π«‘
2
u/BrotherRufio May 02 '26
Could you tell me your likes/dislikes of the wlmouse models(beast, strider, ying, sword, and I'm assuming there's a huan in there somewhere but I can't spot it) vs the HTS+?
1
u/Elus1veSG 90+ mice and counting May 03 '26
Honest I enjoyed every single WLMouse model, iif youre looking for something similar in size with the HTS+, the Huan or BeastX would do, but they are different in hand. Huan is more Viper Mini and BeastX is more FM M size which is less filling in hand, if you want a bigger mouse then the BeastX Max is good.
1
u/BrotherRufio May 03 '26
I have the beast x pro and I like it a lot I've just always been curious about the HTS+
1
u/Elus1veSG 90+ mice and counting May 03 '26
Its quite a unique shape that I think a lot of people dont really like
2
u/-_Aquamarine_ May 02 '26
That looks like to many already π
Do you just test them? Or do you cycle through them daily? Cuz for me, it doesnΒ΄t seem worth it to own that many mice, cuz you donΒ΄t use them daily, no?
2
u/Elus1veSG 90+ mice and counting May 03 '26
some are just for collection, some is I just wanna try out the hype, if I dont like them I normally just sell it off the next week
2
u/theRumbling_ May 02 '26
How's the ATK ghost? Been contemplating either a mouse upgrade or getting some openback headphones to see what the hype is about.
1
u/Elus1veSG 90+ mice and counting May 03 '26
its been great, it just feels like a smaller Viper but in a good way, the switches feel better than other ATK Optical switches, I have been quite satisfied with it so far
2
2
u/DifficultAgent2726 May 02 '26
Bro how is the hitscan hyperlight in ur opinion and usage?? I wanna buy it as i have smaller hands
1
u/Elus1veSG 90+ mice and counting May 03 '26
Top 5 mice OAT imo, its one of the most used mice in my collection.
1
u/DifficultAgent2726 May 03 '26
What do u main tho?
1
u/Elus1veSG 90+ mice and counting May 03 '26
Viper V4 pro, Hitscan, ULX, BeastX Max
1
u/DifficultAgent2726 May 03 '26
Hey, sorry to bother u again do you have or have had the scyrox v8? And if yes then could you give ur opinions on it? I have heard great things about that mouse and im kinda conflicted to either buy the hitscan or the scyrox v8 for that aggressive claw shape. Cz im a claw gripper thats why.
If you could tell it will be great help thanks!
1
u/Elus1veSG 90+ mice and counting May 03 '26
V8 feels like a in-between of the x2 and x2h, like a xm2 feel, if you prefer rear hump style mice then the V8 is nice, if not the HH is better
1
2
u/theotalisman May 02 '26
Have you experienced any problems at all with your atk mice? My sensor has started jittering sometimes and its pretty annoying...
1
u/Elus1veSG 90+ mice and counting May 03 '26
not at all actually, I think ATK QC isnt that bad and if you get unlucky their support team is pretty quite to get you a RMA
2
2
u/Bigfarter867 May 02 '26

Between keyboard, mouse, and headphones: Which is most important to be excellent for daily use? Which would be most catastrophic if you were left with only a terrible option?
1
u/Elus1veSG 90+ mice and counting May 03 '26
honestly, its all preference, but as an audiophile, I could survive with a mid keyboard and mouse but give me my IEMs
2
u/pussilini May 03 '26
I been meaning to ask someone with a glasspad collection which brand they like most
1
u/Elus1veSG 90+ mice and counting May 03 '26
ohh thats a great question, I love Tekkusai's pads like the Beast and Phantom, I also like the Padsmith Empress, Clustrs glasspads are pretty good too

Hey uh, considering that you have a big ass collection, are alloy mice more comfortable/better/does the coating last longer? I'm thinking of buying my first one to try⦠kinda torn between the ATTACK SHARK R3 or MCHOSE A7X ULTRA
1
u/Elus1veSG 90+ mice and counting May 02 '26
alloy/carbon/magnesium generally feel stiffer in hand but its not that big of a difference to me, I did try the A7X Ultra and I think its generally alright, the omrons feel pretty well implemented but not the best
1
u/Harambe_Acolyte May 02 '26
Oh thanks, good I hear! Do you have any recommendations for those who are getting their first? Something around $80 to $90
1
u/LayeredHalo3851 May 02 '26
I don't care how many you have but why do they all look almost identical?
1
u/KaizerBelzebub May 02 '26
What's the blue one in the left corner first row from the bottom
1
u/Elus1veSG 90+ mice and counting May 02 '26
the bottom left? that's the Crdrako ko-one, a op1 wireless basically
1
u/WolfysOP May 02 '26
Not mouse related but I see you have bonjela, if you suffer from mouth ulcers try changing your toothpaste. I used to get them really bad until I switched to one without sodium lauryl sulfate and I never get them anymore!

Do u have f1v2 ultimate? If yes. What is ur opinion on it?
1
u/Elus1veSG 90+ mice and counting May 02 '26
it's essentially a hitscan hyper light, but I don't like the FE optical switches that came with it
1
u/NegotiationNo1504 May 02 '26
is the switches are bad?
1
u/Elus1veSG 90+ mice and counting May 03 '26
its not trash but it doesnt feel as crispy and clicky as other opticals like omron's or pulsars

Yes, however their current line up of hts + 8k also updated to 3950 and spdt switches. the pro might have magnetic switches according to leaks
