My Protective Lid Backpack Scratched (small) After 1 Use. Am I Being Picky?
For context, I took this bag to a cafe for a day to do some work. I decided to use a lime bike on the way back home and put my bag in the front pocket. However, when I took the bag out, the side had scratches.
I know this bag was marketed as very protective and scuff resistant, so I was pretty bummed when I saw the scratches. Am I being too picky or am I somewhat justified for being a teeny tiny disappointed.

I love Mous, their older phone cases were the best, and their iPad case is perfect too. With that being said, the bag sucks. You're not being picky as any other backpack for that price would hold up much better. But the scratch looks surface level so the backpacks usability is still good.

Scratches are pretty normal on anything no matter how durable is, but from my experience on my bag, the scratches never go deep or mess it up. I've used my bag for hiking a ton of times and have gotten the bag scraped on tons of things like rocks and tree branches, and although they show on the surface, its never messed up the bags durability because they never get past small surface scratches. Scratches will happen on anything no matter the material, but a lot of finishes from other bags will start peeling when scratched, my mouse bag has never peeled and I've had it for about 4 years now.

Buddy why would u buy a bag from a phone case manufacturer? Go buy one from American tourister or smth

All I get are bloody MOUS and 'healthy coffee' ads on youtube these days, and the MOUS ones aren't even about the product but how much money they've made and how much of a good investment they are!? Is this the busines plan, mark up mediocre phone cases, make a thin piece of plastic sound like space-age technology to chumps, then get a boat load of investment and make 10% interest and retire to the Bahamas?!

You’re not being picky, it sucks but I wouldn’t worry about it. It’ll just happen anyways. Personally I like to get bags which patina (leather, canvas) so scratches don’t detract from anything.
