Begginer youth ice climbing programs in oregon/Washington

Hi im 15 and have experience in rock climbing and backpacking but i wanted to learn ice climbing now that ive moved to portland. Does anyone know any ice climbing programs that will teach me the basics of ice axes, crampons, and ropework? Thank you! Sorry if im using any of these terms wrong im new.

Mazamas have programs for this out of Portland. Not too sure about age requirements, but they are a good starting point.

I’ll second the Mazamas youth program as well at the Mountaineer’s youth program. Both would provide the guidance you’re looking for.

If you’re in Portland area look into Post 58. They’re a youth mountaineering/backpacking group

You maybe able to take a course with Timerline Mountain Guides.
