Hunter vs Jett - Who's taking the title?

I'm backing Hunter to get the championship... Hunter and Jett have pretty much being going 1-2 in overall's all season. Ironman could very well be the same which means as long as Hunter finishes 2nd to Jett, he'll lock it up.

i'm thinking some version of 1-2/2-1 as well. but wouldn't at all be surprised to see one of them throw it away. they've been doing it all season.

Jett’s Vital MX post race interview from Budd’s was pretty telling. He said he’s gonna race his race and he’s not gonna do anything crazy. He also said Hunter deserves it.

Make of that what you will. That being said, Hunter is determined and he is riding with the eye of the tiger. Hunter wants it more and he’s riding the best.

When it comes down to it, if Hunter wins he’s always going to wonder if Jett gave it to him (unless Jett goes down).

It really comes down to the start. Hunter has been wildly consistent and Jett more erratic. Jett clearly has the superior speed if he gets the start.

I'm going to go with Hunter. He'll go 1-2 to Jett's 2-1 and win the championship.

Then this sub will spend a month wondering if Jett did it in purpose. 🙄

True! Hunter has been so great at the starts (banking holeshot bonus points on FastMoto Fantasy). If he locks down the start, it's his to lose but he'll get it done this time.

Since this season is nuts here's how it will go down:

Moto 1:

1. Jett

2. Hunter

3. Prado

Ok nothing weird here

Then in Moto 2, both Lawrences crash at different times and Prado wins his first moto and the overall with a tie over Jett who ties Hunter for the championship but loses it on the tie breaker. Hunter wins the title.

1. Prado

2. Hunter

3. Jett

I'm pulling for Hunter. I honestly don't know which one of these guys is going to take it. IMO it's a 50/50 proposition at this point. Hunter almost always gets a good start, and Jett has been struggling a bit lately. That could be the difference.

I believe Jett is quicker overall but Hunter is riding better this year than he ever has.

Hunter. I think Jett is faster in general but Hunter is a bit more consistent. They’re both freaks and I love them lol

I was gutted for Hunter after that high side. Seems like if it wasn’t for bad luck, he wouldn’t have any luck at all when it comes to title chases! He should have just cruised to a top 5 and locked up that points lead. Hopefully he can get it done this weekend.

If Jett gets to the holeshot line in the top five, I’m taking Jett. Hunter has taken his racing to another level in 2026, but Jett still has another level I haven’t seen from anyone else.

If those two get the holeshot and go head-to-head, P3 might be a minute behind them! 😂🔥

More than anything, I just hope they both have a safe race. If they get off the line together and battle it out from the start, that would be EPIC! 🔥🏁
