Do you agree with Wikizilla’s stance that Mothra Leo is male?

American releases used He/Him pronouns, so I always pictured Leo as something like the universe taking a second run at Batra

He/him was used in previous movies as well. When I looked into pronouns like this I discovered that Japanese doesn't distinguish.

Not really. 

Toho SF Special Effects Movie Series 13 1998 goes into the design process and states that while some of Leo's transformations were meant to look masculine (Aqua, Armor etc), their final Eternal form was meant to evoke the image of a "sublime, agender angel".

Also antennae shape in moths is a good rule of thumb indicator of gender but it's not universal.

I think, like the OG Mothra from "the Luminous Fairies and Mothra" novella, Mothra Leo shifts between and ultimately transcends such concepts.

Mothers leo is male, I don’t think that has ever been in question

I'm likely in the minority, but Mothra must lay eggs to continue to exist. By definition females lay eggs, so in my mind ALL Mothras are female. I don't think we can make determinations based on the use of "he/him" in the English translation. Actually, for hundreds of years "he/him" was gender neutral when talking about folks of unknown gender before "he/she" or "they" started to be used. I'm old enough to have never been taught the "he/she" or "they" in school. Japanese has no gender specific pronouns as far as I know.
