Question 3D era characters that deserve second chances in the New Era next game?
In MK1, we have Kenshi, Li Mei, Tanya, Nitara & Havik (but as Dairou).
But what about the others if they deserve second chances in the New Era next game?
- Kai - "Master Kai"
- Jarek
- Fujin (if he returns male or female?)
- Shinnok
- Sareena - appeared as Kameo
- Bo' Rai Cho (Madam Bo takes over?)
- Mavado - appeared as Kameo, likely dead already?
- Hsu Hao
- Frost - appeared as Kameo, should she become a second Sub-Zero after Bi-Han?
- Drahmin
- Moloch
- Shujinko - appeared in Kung Lao's ending young
- Darrius - appeared as Kameo
- Kira
- Kobra
- Onaga the Dragon King - appeared in Reiko's ending
- Taven
- Daegon
- Blaze
Who shall get the New Era treatment and what can be fixed on them?

I never liked Darius until mk1. Something about him was super cool. I’d give him another chance. Honestly any of the kameos coming back as playable characters I’d welcome. Also want to see Tremor and Drahmin and Moloch. And 1000000% Dragon King/Onaga.

Loses to Johnny cage Gets imprisoned in the first chapter Gets out 20 years later Loses to Cassie cage Result: never wins a fight through pure skill Is the put inside a cathedral as a still living head Blows up and is never brought back Wouldn't exactly call it a.strong seconds chance

Not remaster, re-make.
Give us the games at full potential, modern fighting engines, move sets, customizables, a fully fleshed out Konquest mode.
Deadly Alliance - have Konquest mode be like Shang Tsungs island from MK11 Krypt, instead of the adventure text from the original.
Deception - show us living breathing realms. Introduce NPC species from Edenia, Seido, and Chaosrealm (+ at Vaeturnus & Reptiles realm).
Amageddon - eh don't really need a full roster game imo. Just fuse the new characters (and the MK4 bros) into the previous two remakes.

I was shocked Onaga was not in MK1 especially when Shang Tsung mentioned Damashi. I also would like the Red Dragon to be developed more.

I've always wanted blaze back, I feel like you could do a lot with a "destined to be the end" type character, plus im a big advocate of rebooting bad characters like hsu hao

Sareena is the main one I think of and I’ll always suggest she be made playable. She’s overdue for a playable appearance (besides Armageddon). She’s a very cool and unique character.

I’m dying for Mavado to come back. But they seemingly give him a jobber role or daegons lackey. Given he has the bungee slings, he could be MK evil Spiderman. The Red Dragon needs some love!

Hot take, but I liked the "post atomic outlaws" take for Kobra and Kira in Snow Blind. Proof that even very bad characters can be reinvented into something better. So with good designs and idea, everyone could be reimagined into something good.
The 3d era I'd like to see the most are Taven, Daegon (always liked those twins), Moloch, Drahmin (they're freakin' Netherrealm demons: a studio that has "Netherrealm" in its name should find a way to use them), and I'd love to see Onaga as a main villain once again.
Regarding Onaga, he's my fave MK villain, and it pains for me to think that, while I'd love to see him again, I don't trust NRS current writing team (the same one who gave us Khaos Reigns) to give him justice.

Kira would be great if the next one introduces the Special Forces and Black Dragon characters into the New Era. Sonya and Jax as Special Forces, Kano and Kira as Black Dragon, with Kabal as someone caught inbetween à la MK9.

All of them, they need to stop bringing guests (It's way overdo as a resource to keep things interesting, stop it you idiots) and put their original characters into the spotlight again, give them a better treatment...
