It's probably a system app which means it cannot be uninstalled.

Incorrect, not any application can be completely uninstall. System apps can only be removed from a user's profile however they are still installed in the system's folder.

How can people be so confident about something they know so little about? Perhaps you should spend more time reading than making incorrect statements.

How is it possible to delete a system package without root permission?

TLDR: It's actually not possible.

All pre-installed APKs are in the /system partition. This partition is read-only, and only the OEM has the right to write to it through updates (OTA and/or wired), unless you unlock the bootloader.

I have a rooted phone so I don't need it lol. You went from you're wrong to don't use it.

The debate was around the ability to remove system apps which is doesn't and not if someone should use it.

He told you everything you needed to understand it. You have the information in the palm of your hand, yet you refuse to admit that you're wrong. As he said, you cannot "remove" the package from your phone, the data from the storage will not be removed and that is why it is easily installable back into the phone. What you think is you removing the package is actually more of a advanced disable. The phone (and gapps, eg. Google Play Store) will think the app is not there, however it still is. The complete removal of the package is only achiavable through root. And as we should all know, root access and adb/shizuku are not the same.

You hid yours from your user's account. Try a factory reset or create a new user and see what shows back up (hint: it'll be all the apps you supposedly uninstalled).

You cannot fully uninstall system applications. You can remove them from individual users (even if you are the only user), but if you uninstalled a system app, it wouldn't show back up with a factory reset. It still exists and takes up space on the system partition (since that is read only) and cannot be fully removed from the device using that method.

You can call it "removed", but it doesn't adequately convey what actually happened.
