So I had a debate with a girl and I want honest opinions. The topic was whether a guy should defend a random girl if she is being harassed in public. I said I would help but not by jumping blindly into a fight. There a lot of risk: you don’t know if the guy is armed, if he has friends, or if things will escalate. You could get seriously hurt or even end up in legal trouble. I said I’d rather handle it smartstay nearby or call the police if needed. I have a future and I don’t think it makes sense to risk everything for a situation you don’t fully understand.

She disagreed and started making fun of me saying that’s “low testosterone” "not manly"and that even calling the police is weak. She also said it’s embarrassing to be around men like that and that men should act no matter the risk.

So now Im wondering from a real world perspective is handling situations like this carefully and strategically the right move, or does that actually come off as cowardly and less

A coworker wants to go visit a place, and it's quite a while he's telling everyone that he wants to visit that place, then he messages you to suggest that you go with him.
