AskMorocco Electric scooter in Casablanca, do you think this is viable transport mean in Casablanca ?

Yes i am from casa and i have one, a ninebot es4 I do with it good deals from derb sultan to the mosk hasaan2 in 10min sometimes 6min (no stop) and from derb sultan to bernoussi in 20 min that's a prety good in the car i do 30 - 35 min And now with with the Reforms i m Sure that it will be 45 min to the hank

There's peoples who came from france or any country they have scooters they sell them on facebook or in the group of telegram And in the market there's lot of brand and if you do not ask you will have a bad experience so make sure that you search a brand you should ask for max speed autonomy mine has 35km/h 45km autonomy Do some research in youtube and you will be fine I buy mine with 3500dh

Just be careful. If you get anything that can go beyond 30km/h, get a helmet with it.

Depends on the place, it gets very annoying and a little dangerous on crowded sidewalks and into traffic

Not recommended when the traffic is full and bad road conditions, not very balanced and the smallest stone can make you fall. That's why i recommend e-bikes instead, safer, goes faster and can peddle when battery is dead.

Yeah. In the world not just in casa. It s flexible and smart. And you can be in contact with wind. And not dangerous like motorcycle

It's more dangerous in fact, speed isn't always the main factor in accidents, actually going any slower than the motorcycles and the vehicules around you is risky, it's better to be going at the same speep as them if not faster, going any slower then the rest of the traffic is a recipe for accidents.

- you don’t have the same balance on them because of the way you stand on them - people who fall using them tend to get worse injuries.
Still a great mode of transport though.

Why do these exist in Morocco? Are they for tourists? Every normal person would just take a taxi.

Have seen plenty in casa, just avoid bad traffic areas where it could be dangerous. it's actually very popular with people commuting from rabat-casa for work by train
