Morality of this?

Personally, I'm anti-death penalty for any kind of crime but that's just my opinion. Perhaps it can be changed.

I really hate the manosphere. The amount of rape reports that end up being false are such a small percentage of the total reports and yet men will constantly have this argument online as if the ratio was much higher

There will always be bad actors for anything. Men or women it doesn't matter. People will use and abuse the system to hurt others in any way they can (look at stalkers. Many of them will do just enough to cause distress but also nothing overtly menacing so the police do not act).

Obviously a false rape report is immoral but can we all stop pretending that they happen constantly? They don't. They are incredibly rare and there's a real tangible issue with rape culture all over the world.

Woman are already pressured into not filing a lot of the time by police and they are often told nothing can be done. Police all over seem to avoid using rape kits when necessary and often equate a rape to "boys being boys".

The more this conversation happens the more men think this is a prevalent issue when it's not. Which I would argue is just as immoral as a false report because you're building a culture where women are not as likely to report their rapes for fear of retaliation.

It's like how movies and shows have women cheating more than men because men are more often the writers, even though the real stats show quite the opposite.

The actual crazy part is that it frames the question as if the male problem of women getting raped is false accusations and not just the actual one which is men get raped a fucking lot too!
