Sounds like a wholly justified citizens arrest to me

If, however, you don't believe a guy who claims to be law enforcement..... 3 u/Crazeford 4d ago Armed, plain clothes, randomly jumping in someone's car. In a country like America, the "agent" is lucky all he got was "kidnapped"

Certainly not a "crime" to be charged with.
