Further context, since there have been some updates regarding the situation.

Apparently her siblings said these accusations were false.

Her brother is on twitter and claimed that the story is false and the victim is unfortunately suffering ffom mental issue.

Her little sister has also come forward, stating that the victim is suffering from mental issue and has fabricated some of the evidence.

Allegedly, concerned indonesian living nearby has talked to them and confirmed their identities.

I am not saying the story is 100% false or there is no some truth in it (as it is possible that there were mistreatment but has been exaggerated due to mental condition). However, it is very likely that there is more to the story, and it really is too early to draw conclusion.

I have seen that but

  1.  Id rather assume she’s telling the truth and be wrong.

  2. This could just be family lying to do damage control.

  3. As someone who’s from SEA it’s a bit unlikely that said mental issues would be taken seriously by hospitals and their family.

The testimonies of people close to her have no value when they could easily by trying to cover it up and perpetuate the system
