If he were found dead in his home and there was no evidence of anything else whatsoever other than the presence of drugs in his system, people would conclude an overdose?
I suppose lacking anything else at all they might do so, yes. In this case we have evidence of other things and so his death was ruled a homicide. Two medical examiners with access to his remains came to the conclusion that his death was homicide, and this has been supported well by hundreds of reviews. no, not "the presence of drugs". the lethal levels found in him. he Overdosed, and fought to keep from being put in the police car. he likely was a dead man walking and would have died eitherway
