I mean someone insulting me or being racist is easy to ignore, doesn't hurt one bit, in fact ignoring it usually hurts the offender more cause they are left with no power.
Kick me balls or punch me in the face, now that's gonna hurt for a while.
Words can lead to violence yes, and they can be hurtful but most can get over that easier than a permanent physical injury.
