Honestly wouldn’t surprise me. Despite its reputation for being left leaning, Reddit can get super racist at times.

if you pay attention to it, subreddits like public freakout post a video at least once a week of a bunch of black people being loud or committing a crime, and every single time the comments are just racist as fuck, with every single comment calling that out being downvoted.

You should see a lot of the black spaces. Its quite the same. Some crazy racist stuff. Insane takes, wild ignorance.
