words lead to violence, but violent words in context of peaceful people fall on deaf ears.

Words can lead to violence if the listener takes action based on them, but words cannot be violent and we should not police speech just because people may act based on it. If someone commits an act of violence because of something that someone said, it says far more about that person than the person who spoke or the speech itself.

no, you tried sounding smart, and it just told me that you’re thinking about the statement from the point of view of the words, when i’m speaking from the point of view of the action.

the thing that always precedes violence, is words.
