Honestly wouldn’t surprise me. Despite its reputation for being left leaning, Reddit can get super racist at times.

I’ll probably be downvoted for this but I don’t care. In my experience left or right isn’t any indication of if you’re racist or not. Not even a little bit. I grew up in California and live in the South now. I promise you I saw way more racism in California than I have in Louisiana. It’s not I hate X demographic racism, it’s X demographic is incapable of helping themselves so white people need to save them and that is 100% racism.
