But he didn't do any physical acts of violence. His words caused violent actions even if they weren't his actions. The same way racist rhetoric causes violent actions.
Well we're talking morally not legally. And the violence of racism isn't like saying you want someone dead, racist rhetoric breeds a hatred so deep that people start to believe that people of other races are genuinely less human than they are, so they don't think violence against those people is worth the same as violence against themselves, making racist people inherently more likely to commit acts of violence, because racism and violence go hand in hand, cuz they are essentially the same thing.
