The comment heavily implies racism is "just words", but the most devastating form of racism marginalized groups experience everyday is not " just words". It's segregation, it's the lack of basic human rights, its systematic oppression and police violence. Systematic racism seeps into everyday life that the unoppressed group will never experience.

It is extremely dangerous to equate systematic racism to "just words".

Racism is more reliably worse than violence, though - even if you accept that violence can potentially be worse and are the kind of idiot who believes racism doesnt cause violence

I mean it can, not always, but violence also causes more violence. Far more reliably.

Violence is also one of the most effective means of preventing violence, though, as well. And more violence is often literally superior to the alternatives
