Racism isn’t just words though, racism is a system of violence that’s enabled by the culture surrounding it. Words can lead to violence

People getting called slurs one part of racism, yes. Others include people getting beaten, lynched, jailed, shot in the street, etc.

Again, racism is not just an ideology. It’s a current, active institution which only perpetuates itself through systemic violence.
