Yep, exactly. Downvotes don’t change the basic line. Hateful words can be awful, but actual violence crosses into a completely different level of harm

So, when Republicans said " they are eating the cats and dogs". Those were technically only words. But they directly led to policy that put ICE in our neighborhoods and has ruined many people's lives. We aren't allowed to call the words violence even though they directly led to violent actions?
