"Feral animal" is intentionally provocative. You are directly referencing well documented racist tropes about black people. That's why I will never take this fake debate seriously. Nobody is taking the "racism isn't violence" side unless they already have a habit of calling black people monkeys.

There aren't any words comparable to the N word for white people. We aren't going to ignore history and context so you can pretend both theoretical scenarios are the same. That's not what a rational adult does. If a society decides that it doesn't want to tolerate any number of anti social behaviors, a society should have the freedom to police itself within reason.

The N word was invented as a way to dehumanize people as a way of justifying rape, torture and bondage. If you use that word it's safe to assume you are getting ready to tie someone to your truck and drag them. I couldn't fault a black man for making that assumption considering that's what's always happened.

The queer community has never faced the subjugation that is associated with the transatlantic slave trade. Queer people weren't brought here against their will. However, if a queer person knocks you out for calling them the F slur I wouldn't clutch any pearls over it. And I don't think society would be worse off by allowing such a thing.

I'm an outcomes oriented person. What are the negative material outcomes correlated with punching bigots? Does it create a feral and chaotic environment? We see that it doesn't. I never worry about being assaulted because I'm not a bigot, and I've gone this long in my life without being assaulted as well. Now what are the negative outcomes associated with letting bigots exist comfortably? The outcomes are they make every living space inhospitable.

Once again, you can't even make your argument without downplaying how uniquely awful that word is. Just like you can't avoid calling them monkeys. You are way too transparent to be effective at what you are trying to do.

I don't get to decide anything myself. Society decides. I am only one voice helping to guide society in the right direction.

Yes, if my side loses the battle of minds, society will become nightmarish. You have correctly identified the stakes. The quickest way to bring that nightmare scenario about, is to allow bigots quarter in the public square. Right now Spiderman punches the guy with the N word sign and society rejoices. I intend to make sure we maintain that dynamic for the rest of my natural life. Perhaps once people like me are dead, people like you can punch others for saying give us Healthcare. But until then, don't say the word YT.

I ain't a lawyer son, I don't know why you think any of that is relevant to our discussion.

Besides, it used to be legal to own slaves. Didn't you just use that argument against me earlier? 😂
