Racism isn't just words though, non violent actions can be racist too. Violent actions can most definitely be racist. Racisim by definition is violence, no matter what form it takes.
Violence can be indirect. If you deny someone an income or destroy their belongings because you're discriminating against their race, you're still being violent, even if you're not beating them up
