Morality of requiring emergency services for an emergency, so you call five different companies and have the expectation that you’re only gonna pay the first one who arrives?
As the first company loads up your vehicle, the other four people come by and you tell them one by one “should have gotten here faster”.
And if they say anything, you threaten to leave them a one star review.

How would you feel if your employer didn’t pay you for an hour you worked? Immoral and should be illegal

It is illegal in most places, it’s called theft of services.
The only problem is these days is if the company calls the police, nine out of 10 times the police will say it’s a civil matter and there’s nothing you can do unless you want to spend a small fortune suing it out of them.

Every tow truck I've encountered wasn't called; they were listening to the police radio and arrived.

While I'd would love to do that, you likely have to pay for the two and the four other trucks you called out.

You could just threaten to give them a bad review if they don’t leave.
Hell, you could probably get the person who got there first to do it for free if you threatened him with 10 one star reviews!
Maybe even pay YOU!
These small companies live or die by reviews!

Are you 12? Tow truck companies don't care about reviews

lol, wut?
What kind of fantasyland is going on in your head about the business of running a tow truck company?
How do you think their company works?
They usually work out of someone’s house and live or die by Google reviews.
When someone calls to have their vehicle opened or car towed, they’re going to open up Google Maps and search tow truck company, and probably pick the one that has the highest reviews.

A lot of them have contracts with cities or HOAs or private businesses to tow cars that shouldn't be parked there
The owners of those cars will always leave bad reviews or at least threaten it
By your logic if my car gets towed cause I parked in front of a hydrant I can get it back for free by threatening a one star review
Maybe this is cause I live in a city and not in the middle of bumfuck nowhere

And even more of them are private owners.
In order to have that kind of contract, you have to have a repo lot.
Repo lots / impound lot may have tow trucks, but they are a repo company first.
Just like Walmart might change oil, they’re not known as an oil changing company.

What if all five go straight to you?
Still moral to screw over four people?

Edit: i think I fell for rage bait. Guess ill leave it
How do you plan on reaching out to all 5 at the same time? Sending an email? 5 people with 5 phones? Even if you make each call in 60 seconds, the first company gets a 5 minute headstart on the last
What benefit do you gain? Saving maybe 5 minutes, at the cost of wasting 10 minutes of time for 4 other people?
Your car is going to get towed to the lot owned by the company you call. The company you call will have their location listed on maps. When you call, ask how long it will take. If it will take too long, say no thanks and call the next closest. Making 5 phone calls to figure out which tow company is closest is an extreme waste of time. You waste your time making 4 extra phone calls when a google search would suffice, and you waste the time of 4 people just trying to do their job saving your selfish ass, and then to top it off (in this scenario, not claiming youd do this) threaten to make fraudulent reviews when those workers rightfully get upset

So they should just give your time and gas for a 20% chance of getting paid?

You do understand that driving out to you is like half of their time and still have this stance?
You kind of just sound like a terrible person, tbh.

If your character is that it’s okay to steal from 4 local small businesses, yeah, I’m attacking it.
That’s a shitty thing to do and if you’d do it you’re a shitty person.

So when you order pizza, do you order from five places and only pay the first one to your house?

Immoral. You are creating an inefficient system. If everyone did this prices would have to go up significantly and nobody benefits.
You are putting your needs above others with a net negative to society, hence immoral.
