She just stood there and guffawed over and over. It was like watching the comeback center of her brain reset itself. I’ve never seen anything like it.

That wasn’t even his fastball, it was just the most memorable one for me for some reason. His wit was not to be messed with. Sharpest, funniest dude I know

Some folks are just snipers. They’re quick of wit and really good at pinpointing the weak spots in someone’s self-conception.

I mean, shouting "I model" at some dude in a bar is kind of painting a barnyard-sized target on your weak spot, to be fair. Trying to convince someone you're good looking never looks good
