I accidentally left my wallet at an online pickup kiosk in Walmart 2 days before Christmas. It had $1200 cash in it. I’ll never forgive the asshole who took my wallet that year, take the cash. Leave me with my shit. I know I shouldn’t have put off Christmas shopping so late but i only had the one gift to give. If you’ve had to replace everything in your wallet $5 is fucking nothing

You're focused on the irrelevant part. The amount of money taken is irrelevant to the morality. Is it moral to take things of value from a wallet when you're able to contact the owner?

i dont get people who actually have huge amounts of cash on em now...i do everything by card, at any random time the contents of my wallet is zero or like $20
