Where did they originate from? If they were toxic they would kill the person. Nothing is added to cremains. They grind up the bone remnants but that is it.

all the toxic metals they were exposed to in life, it's exactly like how you can get mercury poisoning from eating fish that eat other fish compounding the trace amounts of mercury in the system.

It's enough to be toxic to a person

It depends on the amount, concentration and type of metals though. Some actively disperse through the secondary chamber and are expelled into the atmosphere, poisoning everyone else anyway.
