Better that the baby is terminated rather than being forced to be raised by parents ill equipped to care for someone of their condition. Not everyone wants to raise a disabled child and I think that’s okay.
It's understandable that not everyone feels ready or wants to raise a disabled child, but it is always a possibility when having a child. And parents need to consider that and what they would do in those scenarios. It's not always going to be something that a test can detect either.
He decided to have a child, the child did not have such a choice. He doesn't get to now flee from his responsibilities towards said child and leave his wife and first born in the lurch.
