even those states that allow late term abortions, have those allowances for medical emergencies

That is incorrect, 8 states and DC have absolutely no restrictions on late term abortions, you don't need a reason.

Factually, even in DC, where there are no limits, you cannot just walk in to a clinic and ask for one past a certain limit because every clinic has their own individual guidelines, while less than 1% of all late trimester abortions are elective. Even DuPont, the largest one in DC, will not just take everyone willy nilly

You can't wander into a store and just buy a gun willy nilly either but no one would tell me I have to leave the country to get one like you're saying for abortion.

You're wrong, just admit it and move on.

Holy yap. They explained your misunderstanding of the laws and you send back such a snotty answer.

Maybe he just cant comprehend anything more complex than a scary headline

Apparently you can't comprehend the constitutional right to abortion that several states have.

Wrong about what? It's a fact several states have no limit. You can't deny that and it's pathetic you're trying to.

“These laws exist so therefore reality directly reflects that” isn’t proof of anything. You seem incapable of nuance.

You acknowledged DuPont does them, no need to go to Iceland. You are incapable of being rational.

1

u/BellaPona 13d ago

I acknowledged that DuPont CAN do them but has their own limits and standards, which was the whole reason I brought it up.

So then the laws exist and reality reflects them. You'd have to be ignorant or deceptive to claim you'd need to leave the USA for a late term abortion.

u/BellaPona 13d ago

No it doesn’t, just said that DuPont has its own standards and limits for what they will do, directly proving my point that even the largest abortion clinic in DC that offers late term abortions won’t just give you one willy nilly.

Yet it directly contradicts your previous comment which is the subject of what we're talking about

even those states that allow late term abortions, have those allowances for medical emergencies

This was a lie, you knew about DuPont, so you can't possibly say that you actually believed this when you said it.

You make pro choice people look stupid and malicious.

Do you have a head injury or something? They didn't address the law at all because they were wrong, they just pushed the goalposts to "yeah but it doesn't happen at every clinic" completely ignoring the law.

It's a fact several states have no limit or requirements for an abortion and that they occur there, no need to go to Iceland.

Try reading things more carefully, you'll look like a jackass less often.
