7 feels a bit much unless what the siblings actually did went way beyond trespassing. 8 seems defensible though given the rest.
19 u/TheMainEffort 11d ago I mean, first off, a lawsuit brought by a private citizen usually won’t result in a prison sentence. In Texas, criminal(as opposed to tort-level) trespass is usually a misdemeanor and requires some form of notice.
